Hope to a Tortured World

[Shina, Water Queen]

"Know? How do you know? I know you've got that whole sight thing but how does that work with a person?"

[Gregory: The Storm Raven]

"Nothing to do with my powers. It's knowledge left to me by our creator. I don't know how but I know."

[Shina, Water Queen]

"Our creator... that god. I don't even remember which one it was... all I remember before I wake up in human form is stuff about the eggs. We are angels looking for the eggs right?"

[Gregory: The Storm Raven]

"Of course we are, just in human form and with human flesh. A little time and our Angelic power will begin to surface once again. I don't know why I remember extra. Maybe I'm just that much less human than the rest of us."

[Shina, Water Queen]

Shina runs her hand down Gregory's arm.

"Funny, you feel plenty human to me."

She smiles, laughting.

"Your so serious, just like always." She stops, blinking. "How can I know that when this is the first time we've met?"

[Gregory: The Storm Raven]

Gregory shrugs away from Shina's hand.

"As much as I can tell we still have out Angelic minds somewhere in our brains. Mine is just closer to the surface then your's. Your acting very... human, Shina."

[Shina, Water Queen]

Shina laughs.

"I suppose your right, you always seem to be. Still, I think that I like being human. Having a body is... nice."

She folds her arms over her head, letting her long hair fall between her hands.

"It's fun."

[Gregory: The Storm Raven]

"Your getting a little too close to your human side Shina. Don't get too involved with your flesh, we have work to do."

[Shina, Water Queen]

Shina frowns, pouting. "Oh, your no fun Gregory." She smiles, stepping closer and dropping her hands, "Oh well, we'll talk later. Where are we headed now?"

[Gregory: The Storm Raven]

"Like you said, to get stronger. The more we work these human bodies the closer we get to our power. I'm thinking we go and work them to the limit."

[Valodya Bassarov]

Bassarov wandered trought the twisted halls of mirrors, which perverted his image in all possible ways. It gave him a headache to look around the silver corridors. He saw in the mirror his warped image, but also the images of others. He sae Kaieka, in a raft, paddling for her life. The seen changed and he saw her with Zephyr. This upset him. He saw strangers and friends, sharing in some misery or another.

He tried to keep a clear mind, but besides the mirrors was an off key circus song which kept repeating itself. The vociferous carnival music was just as twisted as the mazes.

Bassarov closed his eyes and concetrated on the past, on pleasant memories, anything to distract his mind.

[Shina, Water Queen]

"That doesn't sound like fun at all. But I suppose..."

A little more time with Gregory... I wonder if I can get him to do a little more human.

Shina smiles, enjoying the thought.

I wonder... I seem to be attracted to Gregory's mortal form... must be a side effect of my new body... I like it.

[Ukko]

Ukko senses two angels and scans their intentions.
"So they desire the soul eggs. Nichiyo-bi has hidden them well, it is my hope that they do not fall into the hands of the angels. I will have to watch them."

Ukko's mind travels to the secret locations of the eggs. Genki has one and Zex is about to find another..... that leaves two...the fire egg and the earth egg. Both are secure for the moment.

"It will be interesting to observe how this plays out. I wonder if they seek the eggs for their individual power or for their combined use as a key to my sacred realm."

Ukko sits at his desk in the form of the elderly man Master Rouge...advisor to Lin-Sat. As of now, only Lin-Sat and perhaps Chesire know his true identity. Chersire, another cause for concern...but not as great of a threat as the master of Xananther Xim, the fallen muse.

"I remember him, he was nothing compared to me....I wonder who he follows now?"

[Shina, Water Queen]

Shina stops, placing her hand on the side of her head.

"Gregory... did you just feel that? It was... strange, like someone was running water through my brains. Must be a side effect of using the world waters... or something."

She follows Gregory looking around, eyes narrowed. After a moment she sighs. The feel is gone, the memory fading.

Oh well, probably nothing..

[Ukko]

"These angels work for Red Infinity, which means that I should be able to trust them.....as much as one can trust anyone."

Ukko reflects on the situation.

"Genki has the egg of Lemminkainen, the egg which houses the soul of that wanton Finnish warrior. He died in a battle against Kuro, I did him a great favor by bringing him back to life by encasing his soul in the air egg. Then there is the water egg of Vainemoinen, the great Finnish wizard. He is the son of the creation goddess Lounatar. He fought the evil sorceress Louhi, and died of old age in exile.
Oh....and Kullervo, the great mage of fire. His egg will be difficult to find. After he slept with his own sister accidently, he commited suicide. He is a tragic fellow. his soul was the hardest to capture and enslave.

Lastly there is Mielikki, goddess of nature and mistress of the Forest. I killed her myself, but only in self defense. She is the most powerful, and her egg is currently used by the Druidians.

These eggs were designed for mortal uses only. Will these angels use them for the good of humankind? If not, I may have to interviene. "
