Ukko walks more briskly, but slows himself down as to not give away his age.

Gregory blinks. He'd forgotten that the old man was not one of them. Curses for his foolishness.
"Of course not, what would simple people like ourselves have to do with such things. I was talking about a set of eggs.. golden eggs, a family treasure that was stolen years ago. We're trying to find it."
Gregory nods, not sure if the old man is fooled.

He walks some more.

I wonder which god layed the eggs that we came from. This feeling is strange. I feel like a child, left by it's parents. I know that a god formed me but I know not which.

Ukko reads his mind. He would love to tell him about the angels and how he was once the arch angel Lucius, who revolted against the high god, Jumala Mythysta. He would tell him how the gods and angels were all born from the Manala Tree, the supreme creative being in the universe. Instead, he pulls something out of his pocket: a suisho.
"I want to show you this. It is a Suisho, the crystal soul of an angel. All angels have these embedded in their chest. Mortals often hunt angels for these core crystals. They give power and might to whomever obtains one. This crystal is weak....it came from Testugaku, the angel of philosophy. It gives wisdom to whomever possesses it."

Gregory is vaguly horrified at the knowledge that someone is holding the soul of one of his kind in their hand.
"Doesn't it bother you to use another being's soul as a simple prop? Does the soul not at least move on to it's final reward?"

"Ha, many mortals have these crystalized souls. That is why angels are nearly extinct on earth. It does not bother me at all." Ukko says. People have long hunted him for his soul crystal....the Suisho of Lucius.
The removal of the crystal is a painful, lingering death.
for an angel.
"These crystals grow like acorns on the Tree of Manala. They fall from the tree, and become angels. It is a beautiful process, so says the Book of Ukko."
"This soul crystal could someday reincarnate itself as Testugaku....so he really isn't dead. As long as the crystal remains unshattered, he can someday return."

I stand before the large gray door in heart the Agricultural center. Lemminkainenen pauses. He says he sensed something but didn't tell us what. Zex seems all too eager to enter.
"There is a large power source from within the room. It is my recomendation that we not enter," I warn them.

Hope said somethin' but i didn't here it over my lazer getting charged up.
"Knock, Knock!" i shout!
i blow the door to smithereens with the laser cannon attached to my arm. i enter the room. it is dark, all put in the center where a man in a gray uniform sits in a twisted throne. he is old, with wrinkles all over, three teeth, fat lips, and small mole like eyes. he looks something like a cross between a naked mole rat and my great grandpa Zeron.
In his lap is a blue egg with a picture of a stork and water on it. at his feet is a three headed vulture that he must keep as a pet. the buzzard is freakin' huge.
"Yo, we've come for the egg!"

( i was so right. I did sense Vainemoinen. this is so awesome! I haven't seen him in years!! so this crusty old dude has the egg. well, we'll change that!)
I pull out my two handed sword and walk up to Zex.
the three headed vulture squacks and jumps. the old dude smiles and stands up.
He starts to chant something....a spell....he is going to summon Vainemoinen! rock on!

I carefully observe the situation from behind Zex and Lemminkainen. The room fills with blue smoke as the man summons Vainemoinen. Both the man and the vulture screech in delight as the smoke clears, and is replaced by an old Gandalf like figure. He has long silver hair and a smooth silky beard. He wears a conical hat and long blue robes. The robes feature aquatic symbols. The wizard carries a long staff with a blue orb at the end.
"Fight them, old wizard. I have your egg and you must do as I say!" the man shouts.
A surge of energy flows from the egg into Vainemoinen as the command is given.
Vainemoinen's eyes twinkle. He seems to have no qualms with fighting us. The wizard raises his staff and sends blue lightning flashes at Zex and Lemminkainen.

i dodge the blast. i stick out my tongue and laugh at him.
"is that the best you got, geezer!"
i blast him with my laser. he knocks it away with his staff, so i blast at him again and again. he dodges all of them. he's pretty good for an old guy.

Why is he fighting us? I mean, he was a good guy! He fought Louhi with me long ago. He would never attack me. We were friends. I guess since that evil guy has the egg, he has to do whatever his master wants. but he seems to enjoy this? what gives?
"Dude, fight your master not us....I don't want to fight you. Don't you remember me? I am Lemminkainen."
he bashes Zex in the gut with his staff. Zex falls to the ground.
"I am not your old friend. The world has changed. So have I!" he shouts as he zaps Zex with a huge amouint of energy. Zex doesn't get up.
"I won't let you hurt my friends!" I yell as I charge at him.
