Quan's jaw drops. He stares at Hope then finally sighs and raises his head, shaking it slightly.
"Guard against the Kegai," he mutters, "The Angels art not bound by human justice, my power might not even work against them, nay, twas an order, must be followed."
Quan straightens his hat and nods, "Very well M'lady, I shall guard for these Angels and whoever else wodst come upon thee in the night or day." He turns at Genki and nods, "I shalt see thee again Genki. Til then."
He whistles and Jewel trots over. Swinging into the saddle Quan rides into the woods. "Watch they back sirs, I canst not be everywhere at once."

This is just grand. Sir just and noble is afraid of these angels. Super. Well, at least he'll watch out for us. It is nice.

I wave farewell and walk back to the fire whereby Lemminkainen and Zex are snoring.

After saying goodbye, I sit down with Genki.
"He just showed up clear out of nowhere. It is nice to know that someone is watching over us. He seems to like you."

Quan rides about a quarter miles from the camp and looks back. With a grunt he throws his hand to the right. A ripple of energy rolls from his hand, smashing against a tree, felling the wooden giant.
Dropping to his feet a leaves Jewel by the fallen tree, giving the horse a parting pat.
Moving swiftly through the woods on feet he covers the area around the camp in a quater miles radius until he returns to the tree and his horse.
He nods and sits, leaning against the tree. He closes his mirrored eyes and sleeps, comfident that Hope and Genki are safe for the night.

I watch as Genki goes to sleep. I too close my eyes. Genki is a sweatheart and a goofball. I am glad to see that he is so happy and that Quan was not rude to him. Genki seems a little infatuated with him. That would scare away most guys. Guy are so immature and stupid about that sort of thing. Oh well. Quan is nice and kind. I am glad that he has joined with us. I haven't felt this secure for a long time.

When they were resting,I jumped down to were Hope was,and I picked up the egg from HOpes hands.I looked at Hope and the rest of her companians.I turned around and I started to walk away.I jumped at a tree and sat on a giant branch.And I covered the earth egg with my vest.
