"False alarm, just a lot of fireplaces," Patrick said slumping back onto the couch. His demon nose was beginning to bother him. All the inturuptions could be blamed only on it.

Patrick grinned. "Let's go outside," he said getting up and walking out the front door to the street. He crossed it with Janele and they took off for the forest that was nearby.

"Because it's fun," Patrick said, "and I need to burn some energy off." They continued to run through the forest. They reached a clearing. "Now, We shall play hide-and-seek," he said.

I breath heavily. I am bent over on my knees. I start laughing when I hear him say it. "You go hide and I will count," I tell him. I walk to the nearest tree and I start counting.

Patrick laughed, he thought it was fun to act like a kid in this world where everything was so violent and wrong. He leapt into the highest tree and his behind the foliage.

"97...98...99...100 ready or not here i come." I say. I walk around for a little while. I couldn't find him. I think for a while and then I grin. I say 'raeppa' and he levitates down to me out of the tree. My bubble diddapeares and he falls on his behind. "Find you." I say grinning.

Patrick looked at her astonished. "I can't believe you cheated," he said smiling. He actually expected her to so he didn't really mind.
