i hug Hope, and my eyes are teary.
"Quan up and left. I don't know if I'll ever see him again.....and Lemminkainen went off to fight Bassarov. I told him fighting is wrong, but he went off anyway! i couln't stop him Hope...."
I sob some more.
"Where were you...i was so afraid you were leaving us to go off with that Bassarov. I'm glad you didn't. you mean the world to me."

I watch as Bassarov leaves with his suitcase. All right man, you like totally are going to have to die. I follow him a little while until he is far away from where Hope would be, I don't want her to have to watch this. She has some sort of like for this guy, though I can't see why. He's bad news. Finally I draw my sword and yell to him, "Hey, Bassarov. Dude, I have a bone to pick with you."

I let Genki hug me...it feels so good to be comforted. He is a great friend. So caring. My eyes become a little weapy too, but if a guy can cry...I should be able to as well.
"I see we both have had our share of heart ache today..."
I pull away.
"Quan is gone and Lemminkainen is fighting. Hmmm...this is not good news."

Bassarov hears someone call out to him.
He turns around and sees a man with long teal hair and a Finnish flag shirt. He is holding a very long sword.
"You have a bone to pick with me? I see...you are one of Hope's friends. I have no desire to fight you. Let me quietly leave this town as I intended to do before you stopped me."

"What happened when you followed Bassarov? i hope it was nothing bad....you seem so upset. He isn't the nice person he pretends to be...i can tell you that right now. He is very very not nice."
i feel a little better now that Hope is with me. I was so sad that Quan left. i always felt happy when he was around.

I jump out of the shaddows where I have been following Lemminkainen. "Not so fast slimeball!" I take out my lazer gun and point it at his shaggy-haired head. "I don't think you'll be going anywhere. You see, I don't like it when people mess with my friends."
What would Hope see in this guy anyway? Obviously she was hanging out with him to make me jealous. Well, I'll show her that I care. I'm gonna blast this guy to Jupiter!

"He is a decent person I think. He does seem to genuinely care about others. I think everyone has flaws. I would have liked to have gone with him....or even get to know him better. I think he is used to making quick decisions in life. He lives life at a much faster pace than I..... But I am glad to be with you."
Even now I think about him. I was attracted to him. An entirely new experience for me....
"We should go after Lemminkainen and Zex."
I start walking back to where I last saw Bassarov.

"I see, you are both infatuated with Hope. That is very amusing. There is really no need to fight me. I am leaving and she's all yours. There are more mature ways to resolve problems. I am done with Hope and all of you. Please let me get on with my life."
Bassarov is perturbed by the two males eager to fight him. He is not enthused about the prospect of a fight.
He calmly starts to walk away again.
"Sorry, I don't have time for this."

"Infatuated with Hope? You've got your story a little wrong, Lamo! Now, how about you turn around and fight like a man?" I shoot my lazer at his back. It hits him dead on. I am good. I only had it set on stun, not vaporize, or this guy would have been toast. I would rather have a little fun first before I kill him... Let him see what it's like to battle Zex the Intrepid.

The blast knocks Bassarov to the ground. Angrily he gets up. He summons his magical sickle.
He stares at Zex and Lemminkainen with complete annoyance.
"If you want to waste your time fighting me, so be it."
Bassarov stands deffiantly, waiting for them to attack.
