Bassarov and I sit back down on a bench in the village's lovely park. Where Quan is, I do not know. I thought for sure he would follow along, not that I do not mind the time alone.
"Revolution? I do not think the idea is impossible. History has shown many examples of great overturnings of power. I can only conclude that anyone who doubts you is mistaken. You have history on your side."
I analyze the sitaution, and although unlikely, with hard working, dedicated revolutionaries, it could happen.
"I do not know if fighting Lin-Sat is such a wise idea. I would not try this myself...unless he captured me and put me in that position. There must be a better way to reform the world. In any event, killing is wrong. Even if the person is Lin-Sat. All people have good in them, so who are we to dole out death upon others? Certainly, you have killed people....as a revolutionary. I do not condone such actions. Often the revolutionary is worse than the tyrant."
Bassarov looks shocked at my final statement. I pause for a while and admire the scenery.
"I offended you. I am glad. You think highly of your actions and of your past, Mr. Revolutionary. But have you ever considered all the lives that were lost to make your perfect world? No utopia is worth that. Your intentions have always been good, but what good are good intentions? I want good actions which yield greater results. That is what I want. Intentions and dreams do nothing to solve the real problems faced by people."
I smile at him, I will be a greater revolutionary than him. I can see that now. He is the past, useless in this age....but I am the future.
I touch his hand.
"I should return to the others."

I enter the apartment and hear Kakashi talking about Calithan's possible allies.
"Listen, I don't care. We're going to fight and kill him and that's final." I look at the rings.
"The League was certainly helpful," I say sarcasticly.

I grab my sword.
"Like my country (Finland) has had 42 wars with Russia. Russians are no good, lazy, and stupid. They always invade and try to take things that are good away from other people. I so totally hate that. Let's go beat him up for the honor of Finland!! And to protect Hope!!"

Anyway, I'm not Finnish so I have nothing against Russians. i think Hope can take care of herself...and she gets mad whenever anyone tried to tell her otherwise.
