I go to work and see that much is happening within the ranks of Red Infinity. Kaschei aparently gave himself a promotion, and Kith has not yet reported on Riku. Also, one of our spies went to Dinari Dollar's Mansion and did not return. I am not sure which of these to address first.
I sit in my office bombarded and overworked.

I pick up a report on my desk from Riku. He reports that Bassarov returned from Russia and met Hope Dayspring while he was there. This is interesting. So Hope is alive afterall. I had my doubts. I read on and learn that Bassarov left for PAris to save Kaieka, from Peter Nielson...a LIF operative. This too is interestiing.
I glaze over it, and Riku speaks of other things. The report is very good.
I call him on his portable communicator.
"Riku, this is Violet, your orders are to monitor the correspondance between Bassarov and Hope. They must not form any alliance. Understood."

i glance at suema, his eyes looked black. you ok?, . i pull out a spyglass and turn the dial on the side so it could see through rock. i hand it to suzumi and summon another one, i turn the dial and look through it. the others didnt seem like they wanted to look and surma was acting wierd. i'll look over there. call if you see anything. i wlak away and pull out my cominucator. i look at it ad answer it. it was violet. sorry but that is abit late, they already did, but something happened and hope left bassarov, that is why he returned. right now we are looking for him in paris. something happened and have of a block was demolished. i sent word, and was told someone was on their way. i havent seen any one else yet though.

i hear her talk to doreamon. kith. . . i wouldnt mind that he is a good choice but i dont think he likes me much, i already fought chesire i dont want to fight him, oh and i heard kaschei is the new minister does kith know?, i thought he'd be flipping if he did. oh well. i'll try to, but i dont see why, what can hope and bassarov do together?. she is jsut a kid still and bassarov seems that he doesnt want this a war. but i'll try. i look through the spglass and look for bassarov or kaieka

"I should inform Kith of that...I'll make a post it note to remember. No, I am simply worried that Hope might join up with Bassarov and we'd have two revolutionaries on our hands. She is young, I doubt she is much threat...but with Bassarov's help she could become one. Simply monitor him. Watch to see if he sends her any letters or calls her. If so, report the content to us. I trust you have the situation in Paris under control, so I will not send another operative. Good bye and good luck."
I click off the communicator and face Doreamon.
"What do you desire, Doreamon?"

Hope, Hope Dayspring. Bless cafe waiters. Now Peter had a name. All he needed was the girl herself. This was easy enough but he hoped that she actually had information worth using this time over.
Bassarov was out there somewhere. Peter assumed he could keep a lid on... well there were only so many things it could be. Chronbognk was the logical conculsion, based on what he knew of Bassarov's background. It explained the lack of aging.
He needed information. He needed information so he could kill the demon god that Bassarov held. Caster might kill it but he wanted to know which shell he should start with.
He might only get one.
Moving across the town for what felt like the millionth time that day Peter comes to the hotel. This is where Hope and her 'crew' are supposed to be. With any luck Quan will be off scolding a j-walker.
