Peter straightens, the pain in his head gone. He's back in his element. This is what he doesn, what he has done for the last six years... no, for all his life. But he only remembers the six... later!

"I have no discorse with you Mr. Shadow, nor do I any longer with Ms. Kaieka. I have other matters to concern myself with. There are many other cases to work. And one of them happens to be in Paris. Being the closest officer I was assigned the job."

i grin, as i said though leave bassarov alone as well, he is a friend even if he doesnt fully trust me, i dont care if your next assignment is to kill him if you try to your dead got it, and as for the hotel why wouldnt you?. i know you did it, who else would fire shots in the open your the only one that i know who would

Peter narrows his eyes. "Your right Riku, there is no need to stand on pretenses."
He lets his arms hang loose at his sides, "I blew up the hotel but your 'friend' survived. He's tougher then I thought, even for a deity. Most beings don't survive close encounters with nukes, no matter what they are."
The Hunter pulls a coin from his pocket and beings to flip it, the coin ringing with a sharp metallic ring on each flip.
"As for Kaieka I must assume she made is as well. She was farther away. Lucky though, the heat would normally have lite her up and once a Vamp starts burning they burn to ashes. I should have finished her at the one set.
But it seems that your Mr. Bassarov is much more than he seems. Your pretty sharp there Surma, figuing that out so fast. I suggest you not piss him off. There are amazingly high levels of drugs in his system, a simple blood test told me that.
Whatever he's on it's unlocked something inside him I don't think I want to meet again. Hope you and he was a very nice talk.
And Surma. You and yours will never touch my soul. Sorry to disappoint you. Why don't you take the ones from the hotel and go play poker with them or whatever you 'gods' do."

I blow out the candle and crawl beneath my blanket. My thoughts keep running through my mind, trying to keep sleep from taking me. But I will take every thought captive. Tomorrow is another full day. I close my eyes, and sleep overtakes me.

i glance at surma i know but it was peter here who used a bomb, it didnt seem that the energy was escaping the building so it wasnt trying to destroy the building,the god of darkness?, d**n it. to many dark things, so that makes two the angel of darkness and th god of darkness. oh well. im going back to the others you coming/?.

i catch the coin and look at it. i toss i back forget it, as i sadi i need him alive, i dont care if he does attack me, which i highly doubt he will.. i turn and head towards the others tahnks to the compass.

Peter flips the coin into the air.
"E casi meumbero magik."
The coin flashes and vanishes but a circle is etches around Peter. Line and patterns from a circle around a large star with the Hunter in the center.
"It's called a Circle of Protection. Guards against whatever you want it to. Works well against evil and magiks. I suggest you carry one with you."
Suddenly his motion alarm triggers. Peter whips around, the circle shattering.
"No!" He looks at Riku, "I have matters to attend to. Good bye and good luck with Bassarov." He sprints off, heading back towards the soup kitchen.
