Suddenly I am attacked by a panther! I kick the animal off of me, pick it up, and throw it at a tree. The animal turns into a human male at impact. He must be a Red Infinity operative sent to kill me.
"Who are you...did Red Infinity send you?!" I ask him.

destroying the trees around her and creating a plume of black smoke. When the smoke clears, I see her laying on the ground.

I pull myself up, there is a beeping noise in my head. That noise certainly is annoying.
"Demon....I am not a demon...so far as I know. Now please, if you are not with Red Infinity, I would rather not kill you."
I have only killed one person, and that was the woman that turned Zex, Lemm, and Genki into cats. I do not want to kill again.

Maeve continues to hunt for Mikomi. She travels onward, using her promonitions to locate places he has been before. He was on a bloody trail, leaving behind many dead demons along his path. With every hour she draws nearer to her target.

The invisible energy almost knocks me over, but I crouch lower and am able to withstand the constant barrage of mental energies. I move closer to him, inching my way toward him, fighting the invisible forces that attack me.
I get closer and closer to him....
Finally when I am close enough I summon my own energies.
"Nuclear Rose Bomb!"
I throw a rose bomb at him and run backwards, throwing up my energy shield. In seconds, the bomb detonates, resducing this portion of the forest to a rubble of dirt and broken trees.

We drive back to my mansion and there are already people at my house for the party later tonight.
"I hope that the chef has everything prepared. Looks like it will be a big turn out!"

I stand over him very puzzled. What if I am a demon. Maybe that is where my powers come from. But wouldn't I know it if I was a demon. I bend down to him. His shirt is torn and he has many wounds. I check his pulse.
"Good, he is not dead!"

"Psionic Fire!" The blast knocks her backwards. She falls back to the ground limp. I hit her with it again and once more. She lays there, and does not get up.
She should have known better than to count me out of this so quickly.
I will finish her off.
I prepare to attack her again.

I blast him in the back with my laser cannon. My sensors told me of a powerful energy signal in the area...so I left the cottage to go after it. Good thing I did, or Hope would be toast!

I land super hard, and I think I break a leg. I see Hope laying on the ground. If something isn't done...he'll kill her. I try to get up, but the pain is too much. He hits me again and everything goes dark....
