I go upstairs and see that Kaschei is gone for the afternoon. His assistant is pleased that the Druidian rebel was captured. For the time being, she will be imprisoned. She will stand trial and then..it is likely she will be executed for her crimes against the government. I am told that she will be interogated and tortured.
I return to her cell with the news.
"By orders of Red Infinity and the Ministry of Terror, you will be interogated and tortured. You are a criminal and must pay for your criminal behavior."

I open one eye, "Thank you Kith, please keep me updated." I smiled and unsheathed my sword and started watching again.

I look at the walls and see some shackles hanging there.
"Stand up and walk over to me! That is an order."

I grab her by the wrists and pull her to the wall. I lean her up again the wall and shackle her in place. I keep a stern look on my face while doing this. She already knows too much about me. I stand back. There she hangs. She doesn't look the least bit frightened of me.
I grab an old whip from the other side of the room. It is frayed and caked with blood.
"Tell me that Red Infinity is the greatest entity on Earth. Tell me that you regret your crimes. Tell me that you bow before our power!"

"You mean that you share the power?" I laugh as he whips me "You could have had so much of a happier life without Red Infinity." I disregarded the blood dripping down my forehead as I spoke.

I whip her some more. She does not seem to be bothered by the pain.

I stop whiping her. It does not work. There has to be another way. I put the whip away and walk back over to her. I undo the shackles and stand her up, placing my hands on her shoulders.

"I'd really rather die than do that Kith." I put my hand on his shoulder, "It doesn't really matter to me, I stand up for my beliefs and I die for them. Big deal, but I guess I really would like to live to carry my beliefs. But that's a risk I'm willing to take, at least the kid's will remember me."
