Suzumi scooted over as Riku sat next to her on the bench. She grinned sheepishly, "I went back to look for you, I got lost instead. Then I decided that if you needed to find me, you'd use the compass." She raised the book up, so he could see the spine, and beamed. "It's the one that I bought from that bookstore in Lucern when we met. Are you alright?"

As we had walked away from the troll which had died I picked up the coin it dropped and put it in my coat pocket. I looked for it now and found that it was no longer there, I felt a little different though.
"Yes, we have quite a bit. I suppose we will have to go seperate ways soon. Maybe we could meet up after I complete my training." I look away, not thinking that she will agree to meeting later.

I don't suppose it would hurt me, since I was made to be like humans afterall. I can sleep like humans...but I don't require it...I think it would be the same with food.

"Very well." I answer, and order something off of the menu which sounds interesting. Once the food arrives I try it and am shocked by the strange sensation of the taste in my mouth.
"Not bad..."I say and finish the food quickly afterwards.

Quan opens the door to the house where Genki and the others have been living. Locked or not, all doors opened for Quan.
He stops dead in his tracks. Asher is standing in the room, a cup of tea in his hand. The two lock eyes and even through Quan's glasses.
"Quan?" Says the Vampire.
"Asher." Says Quan. He steps forward, eyes locked with Asher. He stands right before him as Asher puts down his tea.
Suddenly they both laugh and throw their arms around each others.
Quan slaps Asher on the back, stepping away but keeping a hand on his shoulder.
"God, I thought you were dead!"
"I am."
"You know what I mean! Your supposed to be nothing but dust!"

"Good things? I have never really known any good things, I have lived...if you can call this living... a life of killing and pain. I take pleasure in other peoples pain. I don't see a purpose in eating this food...it does nothing for me." I look down at the table slightly angered but I continue speaking.
"The only up thing I have known so far is the new experience of having a friend...I have had Destiny always, but she pops in and out and does as she pleases. I am glad to have a friend for once. I am not sure how long it will last though...I don't know how well Lin-sat will take our friendship." I look up at her now and wait for her to say something.

I am uncertain if I should take Fate's hand. But something about him is very lonely and depressed. I want to make him feel better. I doubt that anyone has ever cared about him. Reluctantly, I grab his hand.
"I am certain that you will find someone who is right for you, Fate. There is hope for everyone. I feel bad for you. I am sorry for everything you have endured."
We walk around the city, which is busy as usual.
