* I smirk.*
" Afraid? I thought your kind feared nothing. You shouldn't be. Don't lie to yourself though, you have feelings for the "weak elf" as you put it. I can see, easilly. But...I am here to help you. Why, because by helping you, I'll get something I want.

"Fine. So what do you have in mind? and I'm not afraid..not of death, not of pain...and most of all..not of you. I would have fought you to the death....had you not stopped me."

I leave the bathroom and find that Bassarov has finished sweeping up the remnants of the furniture. He looks upset. I cannot imagine why... "Want to take a walk with me, Bassarov?"

"A walk sounds good. I need to get out of the house and enjoy the outdoors. I can tell you all about my journal!" Bassarov says with excitment.

Lunar nods to the woman, "Thanks then."
He follows her directions and finds the store. It takes him a little while to find everything that they'll need and even longer to work out how the hell to pay. He hasn't used curreny since they started making paper money.
After a long and difficult struggle Lunar finally buys the supplies. He goes around back to the loading bay to pick everything up.
The worker parks the forklift and steps out to meet Lunar. The stake of wood and several panels of glass stand. The work glances around. "Were's your truck?"
"Truck?"
"How you plan to take this stuff home?"
Lunar looks at the materials and nods, "I think one trip will be more than enough." He grabs hold of the steel wiring around the beams and lifts them to his shoulder then grabs the glass in his free hand.
He nods at the worker, "Thanks. Have a nice night." The werewolf sets off back towards the villa. Now that he has his bearings he can find it again.
For some reason the few people on the street are more interest in him this time around. Before no one gave him a seconds glance but now they all looked interested in him.
Odd, he thinks as he shifts the beams on his shoulder, Strange people.

We head outdoors. It is cool, the air is crisp. We start walking toward the woods.

Lunar steps out of the trees right in front of Bassarov and Kaieka, still carrying the beams and glass.
He nods and walks over to Bassarov, "Hey, where would you like me to start? You think the front windows of the side first?"

"The front windows sound good. Thanks!"
Bassarov and Kaieka walked further into the woods. "I am sorry about Hope...I really am."

"Trust me....I've learned my lesson." Bassarov continues to walk. "I am done with the second edition. I told you that before, but I hope it rouses the masses."

Running into an down the streets before a parting crowd, Trent tried to get away, the smoldering gun still clutched in his hand, "Killed them, dead, killed them dead! All dead! Brown suits, they die alllll die, die for what they did, the things they did.... Things they did to me..bad things, not good things, not good at all....pain full things...." Cutting off the road he leapt into a car, throwing the driver from the street, he barreled down the road, swerving, and twisting till he'd left the city behind.

"Right then." Lunar moves around to the front of the house and starts work.
He might not know cement but he knows wood and glass. For years when he first started to change he lived alone but still tried to be human. He was forced to learn to build and repair his cabin on his own and for twenty years he did. Until of couse he surrended to the call of the wild and the Shaman's embrace.
Wow, that was a longt ime ago. Lunar sets boards and pushes nails into the wood with his bare hands. Construction is easy when you have his kind of strength. Just the act of working makes him flow with energy, generation more power than he uses up working.
By the time he's done Lunar feels all ready fro another run through the woods. But he knows that it's temportary. He must sleep sometime and it might as well be now.

Lunar leaps atop the house and looks up at the moon. With a loud yawn he strips off Bassarov's barrowed cloths and lays down, falling asleep instantly.
His body shifts and grows, returning to it's normal propoertions as he sleeps. He mutters in his sleep, making small sounds and growling every so often.
