I am fast at flying. This new power is very helpful. I should use it more often. I can't remember how I learned it.
I fly back to Moscow, which takes very little time at all. That beeping goes off again and I have a strong feeling my friends are there. I feel so bad. I need to talk to Genki. He can help me. The only other person I killed was the mean Cat Woman. I was out of control then, just like I was a bit ago.
I'm normally so in control. So on top of things.
I land by Arkady's Apartment. I should tell him that his friend Bassarov is dead, but I don't have the heart to.

Peter drives. The tracking program has gotten it's lock perfectly. Whatever energy Hope uses the scan has been able to follow it.
Perfect.
The Owl's face is the same stone it always is but he feels strange about the events of the last few days.
He made a deal with a werwolf of obvious danger, let Fate keep his highly dangerous programming, and now he's helping, even indirectly, to keep a Vampire and a powerful Demon living.
Commad would have his ROM for reactor coolen if they found out about all this.
And now he was following Hope Dayspring. He very thought she had this kind of power. He had liked her. She was a kind, caring, young woman trying to do good. Like Chastity...
Peter tightens his grip and drives. These thoughts are dangerous. Ever since he saw Chastity his head has been hurting. Something about her was dangerous to him, he knew it. If only his head would stop hurting when he thought about her then he might be able to figure it out...

I replay the events in my head again and again. I still do not understand.
My father would never forgive me. He always told me to be kind to others and value human life....all life.
He was always very sad and alone. He worked so hard.
He took care of me all by himself.
Funny I don't remember my mother.....
I have let him down.
I sit on the steps and think about what I have done.
No wonder Red Infinity wants me dead.
I really am a threat.

Peter parks the van a block from Hope. She's stopped.
"Wait here. If I signal then back me up."
He slides out and walks around the corner, stepping up to Hope.
"Ms. Dayspring."
He stands a little way back from her, his glasses low on his nose.
"Perhaps you don't remember me. We meet before, in the village."

My train comes to a jerking stop. I have made the long trip to Moscow. I leave the train with the other passengers and step out into the chilly air. I know noone in the city and I have never been here before. I must find some people that would like to help open a soup kitchen in the city. I have enough money in my bag to back it. Money, a change of clothes, and my tattered old bible.
The people around me head on their way. They have places to go to. I do not know where I am heading. I decide to just start walking in the city and see where it takes me. I say a short prayer to Maria. I will be guided where I need to go.

I reach out to shake his hand but the beeping noise starts up. I pull my hand back and step away from him.
"What can I do for you, Peter?" I ask, wary of him. The beeping means danger.

Your dangerous. I know about the incident in Lucern. You've got a body count Ms. Dayspring. We don't just let people wonder off after murders.

I use my superspeed to run off. He won't capture me. Everyone is after me. Him and his group...Red Infinity....
I won't let them have me.
I run until I do not see him. I hide behind a dumpster.

Peter blazes around the corner of the alley. His body is enveloped in blue flame, wings come our of his back, and his eyes blaze blue. His gaze slides over the alley as he steps in. The fire dies suddenly, leaving Peter. A faint glow surround him as his sheild acticates.
"Now Ms. Dayspring, this is going nowhere. Just come with me and we'll see that you don't hurt anyone else again. It won't take long. You can go on your way in a few days at most."
He looks from object to object as he moves into the alley. He can't pinpoint Hope, only get an idea where she is. She's shown she can be dangerous.

I can hear his footsteps. He will find me. I could spring out quickly and surprise attack him, but I do not want to fight. I stand up.
"I am here. You can take me with you, but only by force. And if you do, my friends will come after you...and they are more powerful than myself! One of them is a great Ursarian warrior, he alone could destroy you and all of your operatives. So go ahead, but is it really worth it?"
This is all a lie. I will fight him if I must. But I will not go with him. My father told me never to let anyone capture me. He said it would be better to die than to get captured. That was the strangest advice he ever gave me. But sure. I would destroy myself if it came to that.

He steps forward, meeting her eyes.
"Then you'll come quietly? I don't want to make a scene in the middle of one of Infinity's biggest cities."

He knows about my friends. I hope they are in no danger. He won't take me. I won't allow it.
I hold out my arm and create a large energy ball. I point it at a large, over crowded apartment buidling.
"You will leave me alone, or I will give you a reason to take me. My father told me to avoid capture at all costs, and I intend to. I can blow up that entire building long before you attack me..... So leave, Or I'll give you some cassualties to worry about."
The pink energy ball gets larger and larger the longer he deliberates.

Peter stares at Hope, his face the same stone as always. After ten seconds he turns away from her, walking towards the alley opening.
He speaks without turning around, "Clever Ms. Dayspring. But you have only bought time. You can't always be around people. I suggest you not travel alone."
He reaches the alley way and turns, looking back at her.
"We'll be watching you Hope. And I'll be back."
He disappears around the corner and is gone.

I put down my arm and the energy fades. For a moment, I wonder if I could have gone through with it. To kill those innocent people. To tell you the truth, I don't honestly know. I'm glad that he didn't test me. I hope I never have to be tested like that.
I stay by the crowded parts of town and start searching for my friends.
