Mistakes and Misfortunes

[Quan Xu / Quan Ji]

Quan looks up and catches a glimps of someone ahead of them. Someone he knows.

"Nielsen!" Quan frozes and the man runs. Cursing loudly Quan swings into Jewel. If the Hunter is here then there must be something to hunt... wait, Hope had two murders for a time... she could be a target!

"Genki! Hope is in danger, find her now!" Quan spirs Jewel and gallops after Peter.

[Peter "The Owl"]

Peter runs down the street at full tilt. He hears a horse behind him. Peter's sure he can outrun any other man but a horse is another matter.

The Hunter slides around a corner and hears the horse slow then follow again. He rushes straight for a subway entrance.

Leaping forward he dives in, twisting in the air to face his pursuer. His .45s in hand he opens fire, falling backwards down the stairs.

[Geshtal]

Hope suddenly lifts off the ground. Geshtal, still in his leather work cloths, holds her up by the collar of her coat.

"Ms. Dayspring. Sorry for the rather rude meeting but we're in a hurry."

"sure thing, Quan!"
I follow the scent, which is very strong now. i turn the corner and see her...and she is being lifted up.
Zex and Lemminkainen have fallen behind.
"you..you put her down right now!"

[Valodya Bassarov]

Bassarov wakes up. He notes that his injuries are bandaged, and some are nearly healed. The last thing he remembers was Hope telling to die. His body feels sore and weak. He is laying in the one remaining sofa. The other furnishing have not been replaced.
He turns to Kazenara.

"Didn't you mention that you are an interior decorator? If I give you my Credit Card, can you go into town and fix this place up with some new furniture?"
