Quan reins in Jewel, dodging the bullets and trotting back from the stairs that head down into the subway. He leaps off and rushes down but Peter is gone.
He kneels down and looks at the ground. Traces of liquid chack, a little blood, not humans, and some shattered glass. The Hunter had a teleportation circle spell brewed and a glass orb? Amazing.
Quan straightens and returns to his horse. He closes his eyes and thinks.
The others have gone... back to the village... back home. With a slight sigh he rides Jewel down the street. Why couldn't he every manage to stay with them?

'fine with me, I'd rather leave anyway. Cya Chihira, I'll pay you back someday.' and before I could get out that Kith had done all the work, she slammed the door behind her, breaking a plate that was knocked off the table.

"Oh, you said you were hungry earlier....I am not a great cook, since I have no reason to be one, but I could make you some macoroni and cheese....from a box. They are dinosaur shaped noodles..."

I laughed, "For a dinasour aged food, the shapes are pretty appropriate." I stood up, "I'll help ok? It's the least I can do."

"I think I can handle this, but sure. You start boiling the water." I open the box of macaroni and dig out the packet of cheese powder. I wait for the water to boil, then I pour in the noodles. Once they are soft, and not starchy, and drain them and pour on the cheese powder and stir it up, adding milk and butter.
"This macaroni looks good, thanks for your help."
We sit down at the table and eat the macaroni.
