Maeve followed Mikomi back to the village, but opted not to stay with Hope and the others. She decided that she would find her own place and spend her days spying on Hope and reporting the information back to the Ministry of Terror.

The cruise was great, but I sure hate having to get back to work. Maybe I can find someone else to do my work for me.
I see my face on the cover of Fortune (at the expense of the working class) magazine. I look pretty good.
I write out a check to Red Infinity to cover I disagree for the rest of the month. I'd have a lot more money if I didn't have to always pay them off. But then again, they might just kill me.

Dr. Witmer woke up hours later, his belly aching from the punch.
"My..my that was a doozey!" The doctor says as he pulls his body from the floor.
He goes to the phone and calls the Ministry of Terror.
"The patient escaped I am afraid, and he killed some of my staff on the way out. Please sent someone here right away. Trent must be found. And if you do send someone, could you have them bring me a ham sandwhich?"

I report to work and am given a mission to find Trent and somehow subdue him. Good, I've been waiting for a mission. He was last seen in St. Peter'sburg so that is where I head off too.

Moira's desperate prayers did not fall on deaf ears. Ukko heard them as he strolled through the long halls of the International Red Infinity HQ in Beijing. He would not let her suffer so. He sent her a vision of himself in his angelic form, complete with twelve feathery blue wings, surounded in a viel of soft azure light.
"I am Lucius, arch angel of light, I am also Ukko surpreme god of this planet. You mourn for the life of your friend, and have made desperate prayers to a god you do not know. I have come to answer those prayers, but there is a price. I could arrange to have the life of you friend restored, since I can negotiate that through my friend, Surma, God of Death. However, in exchange for this favor I must ask something of you."
Ukko pauses to let her consider all he has said.
"You must worship me and only me. You must become my diciple and do my will on this world. And there is something more. You must surrender your soul to the demon Kuro."
When a human surrenders their soul to Tenebris, they become a vampire. However, when this is done by an elf, they become a banshee. Either way, both are undead creatures with cursed immortality.
"I will return to you in four days. Four is a sacred number to me. You will give me an answer then."
The vision of Ukko disipates, and Moira is once again left alone.

Bassarov departs the plane and goes to collect his baggage. Kaieka follows behind him. He walks over to her. "You can go back if you like, but I am staying. My agenda is to climb a local mountain, since at the top are some Incan ruins. I always thought that archaeology was interesting."
He sees his bag on the carousel and picks in off the spinning belt.
"I know you are angry with me, and rightly so. I do care about you, but hunger for more substance in our relationship. We must have something in common besides sex, though it appears at times that is the only thing that keeps us together. We are so...so...different from one another. It is because I care about you, I said the things that I said. They may have offended you, and I am sorry for that."
Bassarov speaks calmly as if giving a speech. He collects the rest of his baggage and stares off towards the customs area.

Kaschei is pleased with the present state of affairs at the Minsitry of Terror. Chihira was recaptured and all seems to be well. He dispached Jezma Bon Li to deal with Trent. Things couldn't be be better. He files a report to Lin-Sat.
He sensed that Aristarchus was around, and that made him uneasy. The dragon was one of the most evil people he had the displeasure of knowing.
He went to his spell books to read up on spells that work well against dragons.

The Druidians are having a harvest festival and everyone is there. It is super fun with pumpkins and squash, and all the other things they harvested. It is all in thanks of Mielikki, the goddess of nature. I grab a ripe apple and give it to Diagh. "I am so happy. This is it the best time of my life!"
"Just leave me alone. I am not in the mood to be happy."
I throw an apple at his head. "You are such a bummer to be around."

I wake up and my wounds are gone. I throw on some clothes and head to the training room right away. I dont even bother eating. I begin the routine of stretches, weightlifting, then punching the bag.
I use some robots today to train against. They are weak and I easily destroy them.

Bassarov's words do some to sate my anger. I pick up my bag from the carosel and silently follow behind him. I do not say anything, nor do I try to find another flight out of Argentina.
The air is hot as we leave the airport. The sun is shining, which I am still not completely used to, but has a pleasant effect of warming my skin. It is much nicer than the freezing weather of Switzerland. The heat alone makes this stay worthwhile.
We hail a taxi and climb inside. Bassarov gives an address and the cabbie drives us to our home for while we are here. We wind through hills and lush greenery, until we finally arrive in front of a large spanish style house with a red tile roof. It is very lovely. I wonder who's house it is, most likely it belongs to one of Bassarov's mysterious "comrades". Bassarov pays the driver and we step outside. The air is sweet with the scent from the various fruit trees in the yard, and is alive with the buzzing of bees. A cantata can be heard lightly drifting on the breeze, mingled with the lyric sounds of people talking in Spanish from homes nearby. I stretch my arms up into the air before grabbing my bag and heading into the large hacienda.

Bassarov puts his bag in a large bedroom.
"This hacienda belongs to my comrade, Rojo Salvidor, a well known revolutionary in the area." Bassarov explains as he unpacks some items.
"The day is so nice, would you like to sit outside with me?"

"Of course."
I feel defeated, like a sail with no wind. I am tired, and have no energy or fight in me. I sit on the deck on a swinging bench. A slight breeze blows past me, carrying the far off promise of rain. I close my eyes and lean back into the swing.

The sky is gray, with a tint of pink in the clouds. The orange sun peaks through, painting the landscape in soft orange. The burnt orange mountain sits before them, traced softly by the lines of nectarine light.
"I do love you. Even if I am a jerk. I think that maybe we are brought together not by what we share in common, but what we lack. You complete some part of me that is missing. So I am drawn to you, for completeness. I wish you could see that."
Bassarov looks at the sky. A strange and colorful bird passes overhead.
"Before I met you, I lived my life in my mind. My only feelings were dedicated to revolution. I was not a whole person. Just a half of a person, only able to operate with half of who they are. I am still only half of a person...."
