Kaschei looks at the man and smiles. "Machiavelli, the black dragon....you have returned...but why? I have not seen you for at least 300 years...."
Kaschei pulls out a chair. "Sit down, friend."

At first I try to look put out or hurt but then I turn to her and smile wickedly "Hmm...how about....no. Unless of course you are too afraid to be around little old me, then if that's the case I suppose I could go...wouldn't want to scare you or anything." I laugh softly after saying this...
I already said I wasn't going to torture her...though I was telling the truth I can't blame her if she is afraid and doesn't believe me.

"Me afraid? Never. You should fear me. So fine, you lead the way. I'm game for whatever you have planned."
I put my hands on my hips. How dare he call me afraid! I will show him just how fearless I am, Ha!

"Thank you. How can you work with "things"such as these i passed in the halls, nevermind that is unimportant. To answer your question, well you have obtained the first piece have you not? Louhi promised to send me back when the time was near for her return to secure her vessel. Tell me Kaschei do we have a suitable host for our mistress?"
He looks around the office,"Nice who does your decorating" He smiles sarcastically.

'Our meeting is by chance... maybe not chance...'
Zephyr wanted Kaieka to fill that eternal emptiness. He wanted to fill up that gaping hole in his heart, and breathe deep of her love. Lofty dreams built of sand.
'...I've changed... but, the hurt never really did... after I had gone undeground, you were the only memory I retained.'
It was all becoming too clear.
'...I love you...'

"My now...when did you decide you were all high and mighty...do not get too thingyy little girl...or you may end up getting hurt." I flash her a quick and sinister smile before turning and walking away.
I think quickly of something she may want to do that is fun...if I am not going to torture her might as well make this fun for her. "How about we play some soccer..." I suggest this and stop to turn around and see perhaps if this was going to be good.

I breath out a quiet laugh.
"Love? I have heard that before. Love seems to be a word that is thrown around rather carelessly these days."
I push myself out of his arms and sit on the seat next to Riku. His body is leaning against the window. He looks pale.
"Do not love me. Bad things happen to those who do. And I cannot return your love. I have been sapped of all I had."
The train starts to slow down, the wheels screeching. I look out the window and see the the lights of town. We have reached the Moscow station.

"I had a few women in mind. One is my a'ssistant Jareth, who is eager to learn magick and easily submits to my will. She is my first choice. Secondly there is Genovia, who is powerful, but not as submissive. Not in the least. Lastly there is Kaieka, the vampire. She would do good as well, and perhaps bear many children as the goddess. A plus since there are not enough evil demi gods in the world."
Kaschei pulls out the black swan.
"Jareth found this for me. A wonderful help to me...."

Post by Omadon on Feb 20, 2004 1:45:57 GMT -5
Omadon closes the book in his hand. His hood shifts slightly, like he is tilting his head.
"Tell me anything? I did not bring you here for information your voice could give me."
Omadon runs a finger down the pages of the book and opens it again, flipping through the pages slowly. "Now," he mutters to himself, "Where did we leave off before the last one finished."
He slowly turns a page.
"Ah yes, there it is. Some 32,324 drops of blood before the test subject gave in. Well, you won't have to do that one then."
Omadon turns to face Jareth properly, his book open before him.
"You are a mage, if a young one. Naturely I would not be so uncivil as to run tests on another's servent normally but Mr. Kaschei has assured me you would be willing to assist in my tests. Made me wonder if he knew what I ment my tests."
The Necromancer runs finger down the page and finally taps something near the bottom.
"Yes. Let's begin by taking some magik samples." The dark mage floats over to a nearby table and gathers a few vials. He moves back towards Jareth and splashes three of them over her head. In a few seconds an aura builds around her.
"Perfect. Now then..." The bony hand reaches out and grasps at the aura like it's solid. With a jerk the hand pulls a chunck of the aura away. Pain rips through Jareth and Omadon drops the light into a jar, sealing it quickly.
"Perfectly done. Now, I'll just need a few more." The Necromancer rips four more pieces of Jareth's aura away, each one sending a ripple of pain through the woman.
Finally Omadon sets the jars down and splashes Jareth with another vial. The aura fades, vanishing. "I've just taken a few pieces of the outer edge of your magik, you'll be fine in time. I would dearly love to go deeper but I really don't know what that would do..."
He leans closer, the void of blackness within the hood only inches from Jareth's face. "So we'll save that for later. No need wasting a perfectly good subject on a whim after all, is there?"
The Necromancer picks up a rather sharp looking blade from the table with the vials and stands looking towards Jareth for a long moment, tapping the blade against his hand.
"I think... that the best samples would be from the mid-chest. Or perhaps... the neck. If you could tell me where your Red Chakra point is then I could save a little time."

"You want to play soccer? Sure...whatever..I played in college."
I run to my room and change into some baggy shorts and a jersey. I put on my shin gaurds and my cleats,
So I'm playing soccer with my hated enemy. I can never pass up a game, no matter who it is.

I wait impatiently as she changes and am happy to see when she comes back out. "Are you quite ready? Good..." I don't bother waiting for her to answer.
I grab her hand and teleport us to a soccer field. I transform just for fun so that it looks like I have on a soccer outfit not too unlike Genovia's except that it is larger.
"Now then..are you ready?" This should be fun...I played some soccer for about 65 years. I was quite good at it.(one of the benefits of never dying...you have plenty of time to learn new things)

"Ah, the black swan...i would like to inspect this vessel, Jareth along with the others. You say one is a vampire none are Human are they? Just asking. The goddess would probably not care much either way but you know my tastes."
He stands and paces infront of Kaschei a bit. "I should say it has been so long i fear i have forgotten how to hold a conversation with my human tongue."

He knew that would be her response. She had been lied to. She had been betrayed. She had been used. So had he. He knew that resentment, that boiling hatred. It all seemed so futile to try and fight such a powerful thing off.
'...I already do love you...' Zephyr began. 'It is too late for me, but I find that little bit of happiness there. What I offer you isn't lies... I don't seek to use you... I don't seek to discard you... I want to share your hurt...'
Zephyr had found himself on his knees, pleading. He was not going to throw this moment to the wind.
'...I don't understand, Kaieka...' He sighed. '...I offer you so much solace... you want to throw it away as you've been thrown away?'

Bassarov wanders down to the cells where political prisoners are kept. There, he walks past the tortured frames of the prisoners. He passes silently across the long room of caged men, and some women. Riku is nowhere to be found. "He isn't here?" Bassarov is perplexed, Where else would he be? He stops for a moment to think of his next move. He did not expect this. The pain in his chest is now more keenly felt. He clutches the wound. He thinks of Kaieka.
"Don't think about her. That love wore you down, like a slow acid drip. There was no substance, only pleasure. It was shallow Bassarov, what did you have. What did you have? Forget about it. You have more important concerns. she never cared about the revolution anyway...." Bassarov silences his thoughts and walks upstairs to continue the search for Riku.

"That B'astard!" she cries out. Her eyes glowing with such fury that it seems they are on fire. So he gave her over to this thing. She was still in pain when he held the knife to her. "Do you think you scare me? Do you know who i will become? You will then tremble before me and whatever is done to me will be revisted on you 10 fold you bag of bones! Louhi will have her revenge on you"
But then a thought occured perhaps Kaschei lied about that as well. She took a deep breath no matter she would be strong and avenge herself, that is if she survived. She cursed Kascheis name as the necromancer asked her where her red, ah she didn't care.
"I don't know so cut where you will. Do your worst and i will do mine."
She silently in the back of her mind screamed,"Kaschei my beloved master why did you betray me"
But outside she was fierce and focused, they will not win over her!
