Suzumi turned to Usha, slightly worried, from the tone of Usha's voice.
"Why...what happened to Riku and Bassarov? I haven't been up there lately, I've stayed down here..."
She clutched the necklace Riku had created for her to use, as Usha told her what had happened.
Biting her lip, she said determinedly,
"I'm going after them both...I can't believe Kaieka would do this.."
'I'll attempt to contact him with this. Kaieka, I swear I will hunt you down if need be.'
Closing her eyes, she attempted to project her hastily construed thoughts to Riku.
'Riku, where are you? Are you alright? Don't worry, Bassarov's coming for you, and I plan to as well.'

I leave her room, and although I should feel beat up and worthless. I don't. Even with out her, life goes on. Maybe I don't need her. But she is right, I should drop the attitude....

Peter hulsters his weapons with a flick of his hands. Bullets aren't working well. Time for something else.
He holds his hand ahead of him and he flashes symbols with his fingers, chanting in a soft voice, in a language that the other does not understand.
"Sun, lok, quan, jin..." The Hunter locks his hands into a position, a few inches apart from each other, continuing the chant at greater speed. A ball of blue light builds between them.
"Lok tar oth!" Peter throws his hands wide and the ball shatters into dozens of smaller ones. These smaller shinning dots blaze outwards towards the cyborg.
With a sound like a powerline going down each dot sudden expands to the side of a bowling ball, crackling lightning surrounding the blue dot of light. The orbs swirl around the figure and Peter holds his hands out.
"Sut met ten. Sut met ten! SUT MET TEN!"
He slams his hands together. The swirling orbs stops... then dive inwards at the cyborg as one.

Hayven comes acorss an ancient map, but it is alas, written in the dead langauge of Fairies. He has not seen Yoko lately. He would have her translate it, if she were around. Instead he studies it in confusion. "There must be someone who speaks this langauge."

I walk outside of the crypt which I have slept in for so long, leaving inside it the bodies of several dead vampires who gave their blood to awaken me. I am sure they did not intend to give all their blood but they gave me to much and left me craving more.
I look into the sky and then to my unknown surroundings. This place seems all to distant to me, from the people wandering to the machines roaring through the placid streets.
"How long have I had to lie dormant in that hole I was in? Let us see how the times now are and how many immortals there are to squelch my thurst of blood which has been unquenched for so many a year."

I witnes the swirling orbs of light and am amazed by Peter's chantings. The beeping noise in my head is going crazy....
He is going to kill the other man.
I would stop him, but the other man does not look like a good or kind one. He looks cruel and chaotic. so I let it happen....

Suzumi panicked, after receiving no response from Riku.
This new panicked sensation compelled her to be quite hasty, unlike her usually contemplative demeanor.
"I'm not going to wait any longer! I'm going after them now! Usha, tell the others please!"
Swallowing hard, she closed her eyes, trying to think of where Kaieka would go.
Recalling the last place Kaieka had been while working actively for Red Infinity, her eyes snapped open.
'The Ministry of Terror.'
Grimly biting her lip, she slung her knapsack over her shoulder, and teleported to one of the last places where she wanted to be...
She arrived in the middle of a corridor, and began running through it wildly, allowing a rare rush of adrenaline to engulf her.
Skidding around a corner, she stopped, and nearly crashed into Bassarov, in the middle of the hall.

"Sazumi, this is a dangerous place to be...you should have stayed back." Deep down, Bassarov is actually relieved to see his friend. This place is a nightmare. "I have been looking for Riku and he is nowhere to be found. I check the cells...everything. There is no sign of Kaieka either..."
