Jareth laughs at this girl. Her patience running thin and her aura increasing.
"My dear, Isn't it obvious from what i just said. I am with "them" as you say. Hmm, pink how cute. Jareth toys with her then gets serious"i can not give you the egg. you will have to tear it from my death grasp. However if i give you the egg my master will kill me. Either way i am already dead. So shall we cut the chatter and dance or is your card full?" She prepares herself.
She can only really control the darkness when she succombs to it, when she is furious but this girl was just annoying her. The aura is thick and it seems Jareth"s eyes are smoldering but with out a way to control the darkness yet she is not at her most powerful. She is like a fuse without powder.

As I see Peter standing and barking out orders I feel the urge to kill him slowly. I wish to drain him to his death at a pace that could be considered nothing less than absolute torture. I can feel the beast inside me struggling to escape and take control. I must keep my power over the hunger.
"I will take Peter by myself, if any of you interfere I will kill you and you shall die a most grotesque death." I say this to all who are listening and I say it clearly enough to be heard over the chaos and havoc around us.

I pull the hood of my cloak up over my head, causing me to disappear from sight.
The sound of his words causes my skin to prickle. He loves me still? I grip tightly onto the hilt of my kris.
"Your words are empty, Bassarov. As for causing pain... It is what I do.
Oh, I saw your boyfriend upstairs. It seems he had a little run in with someone. I doubt you will be seeing him again.
Too bad, now you have neither him, nor me."
I can now see him coming up the stairs toward me, glancing around looking for me. I want so badly to cut out his cheating heart. My eyes flash beneath the hood's covering folds.

Zero springs back to life after a devastating blow of water from the god beast.
Peter and the League has already begin to assemble to combat it.
"Zero here, reporting for duty. I already tried to combat the beast but to no avail. It has no eyes but it is of little use to one who can sense as well as it can see. I am not damaged in any way but I know one thing. My speed overpowers the beast. Perhaps we can use this to our advantage," he says to Peter.

"This is beyond you Zero," Peter reachs down and closes his hands around his .45s, the familiar curve of the handle, perfectly fit to his hand alone, the comforting weight.
With a fluid motion he whips the weapons out of their hulsters, holding them at his sides.
"Retreat with the others Zero, form the second line. There are more after these warriors. There must be enough Hunters left to held the followers."
Peter tightens his grip. He knows that bullets will only go so far in this fight, sooner of later he'll need to change his strategy but for now this works well enough.
"Go with the Guardians. This is our fight."

A few miles from the city Gregory stands, waving the stream of Guardians and rebels quickly onwards.
The trickles of people work their way through the shallow woods and into a cave mouth, one that has no right being there.
"Come on!" shouts Gregory, waving them inside, his sword rattling at his back as he moves, "Into the cave. Keep going to the other side!"
The cave is the entrance to a tunnel system, one made by the Earth Lord himself. He promised Bass he would help. The rebels would be safe in Chi-kage, safe for awhile at least. Infinity didn't have eyes or ears there.
Where the hell is Bassarov? thinks Gregory. "Come on, quickly."

Saint Celeste feels the disturbance and knows it is the god of destruction. Yet she is still to weak to heal herself to go and help. She remains seated under the tree and using the strength she has left, sends a msg to any who can hear her for assistance so she might help defeat this foe. So she waits.

Though I feel no friendship between myself and those fighting along side me I still think that I should do something to help somewhat.
I raise my hand towards the god and I with a flick of my wrist I cast a shadow of darkness all around him. I do the same for all those fighting along with me. We will be able to see each other but the enemy will not be able to see anything but blackness so long as they are more than fifteen or so feet away.

I woke up and coughed up some water. Strangely, I was soaking wet, so were Ookami, Chihira, and Usha. Thank you, I murmured weakly, looking at Ookami and Chihira. I then healed myself.
I was frightened and scared. I wanted Indigo to be here but I decided that it would be best for him to stay with Annabell.
Is everyone okay?

Some of the other operatives nodded.
Bored, I turned on the TV that happened to be in the room. I gaped at the TV screen. Helsinki was being attacked. I felt sorry for those people. But I doubted that there was a way that I can help. I assumed that the city was being destroyed because of Red Infinity.
I turned off the TV and looked at the other operatives who were shocked as well. Well, let's get to work, I said, trying to ignore the fact that a city was being destroyed this very minute.
We researched and came up with a list of possible plants that we can plant.

Zero nods, but replies his last words before retreating, "I don't care what you say Peter, but I'll follow your orders for now. I know you probably have another strategy up your sleeve. I will come back if you fail and I'm going to bring some allies with me. Mark my words."
With tilted eyes, Zero runs off as the last rebel to flee, guarding the flank of the remaining rebels as they escape the destruction of the church.

Bassarov can not see Kaieka. He would prefer not to fight her.
