Ruby's cell phone rings and she answers it."...hmmm....alright,I'll be there in 30 minutes or so."Ruby hangs up her cell and walks out of the cabin."Chi?...I have to go.Maybe we'lll see each other again."Ruby says to Chi before starting to walk off.

And then I look at your friend and he turns out quite normal, just a normal dragon, how cliche in this world. I congratulate you on your race Alien, it seems interesting. If you want to fight me I'll be available as usual. Just think, I'll make you famous!" he said, his voice trailing as he left the couple to return to his 'fight' with his counterpart.

i walk through the forest and see a few deers. they stand where they are and stare at me, like they werent afraid . who was this kid...maybe i should search the rest of his mind. i stop and search through the mind. he had a bad past, and was starting to get a good future until he died. i start walking again and the deers come to me. i stop and the walk right next to me. 'you were dead....'. i look at them. ah,.... yeah, his soul was taken... so im borrowing his body. 'are you good..', i felt strange to be talking to an animal. yes... i am., can you help me find the way out of here?. im trying to find someone. it bends down,'get on', i look at it and get on, it starts running through the woods. 'i cant go far, so i'll take you to a cabin, there are alot of people. so some might be able to help' thank you, can you tell me about who the kid was , 'you should ask your friend zeek...'. that is who i was looking for... we come near a clearing and i get off. thank you for the ride, may the gods bless you.it looks at me and take off. i sigh and walk towards the clearing. i look down at myself. i was still wearing the kids clothes even though his body had changed. i make them change into a priest's outfit amnd continual walking.

i land alittle way from the cabin and let her get off, "sorry, maybe i'll take you again, but right now i have to see someone." i start to fly off, and she follows. my feathers go back to normal, and the light dims as i absorb it, "he is lucky...". we come into the clearing and enter the cabin, i fly into the living room and land on the back of a sofa .

Flask continues, the memories are his, they are those of what makes him who he is, "I remeber life a long time ago. I lived on a mountain... high, high up. Humans almost never can that far up and those that did usually got in trouble in the snow and ice.
We used to help them. Heal their wounds with our tears, fly them back down the mountain. The villages nearby paid us tribute in the spring, gave us grain from their harvest. We didn't need it but still, it showed respect. They loved us, were proud that their mountains had phoneixs."
Flask pauses to take another drink of brandy. His gaze is into space, he's staring at the wall of the kitchen, seeing something else entirely.
"Then the people from the west came. Business men, workers, all sorts. They brought something new. Capital. Men of money. It wasn't long before they started catching us. Sold our tears as miracle potions, used our feathers to make magic, to create fire weapons."
Flask laughs, "In the end we got them. Blasted the whole camp of bastards to ashes. Of course, we took the whole village with them. No more villagers then. We were horrified at what we'd done.
The coloney broke, went their own ways. Long time ago."
Flask sips his drink and looks at Swan, seeming to suddenly remember she's there, "I'm sorry, I'm rambling."

"No, I don't mind. I find the stories interesting. So it seems you spend more time as a human. I do not like this form myself...nor do I like the emotions that come with it. Do you suffer from the same experience in this sort of form? Or am I strange to feel that way?"

He takes another drink, "That why I surround myself with demons and half breeds. I don't have to think about it when I'm with them."
Flask swirls his drink, considering, "Still... I think I like it this way. Maybe I'm blinded by them but I like my emotions. They make me feel alive."
