i glance at her and stop. yes, i do.... this is my body, i can only leave it if one the soul returns and two if it is strong enough to force me out, or if i go willingly, but the soul has to be in it.... i start walking again. i see... the bird of paradise was right, though i dont see why it is not showing itself to you. there doesnt seem to be much blocking it..... i shake my head and look at her. i see. but you do have some magic right, like this. i hold out my hand and a flame appears on it.

i get up and go to the bench. i sit down and look straight ahead. better be careful chesire.... i dont think calling me to the bench was a good idea. this place looks like it would burn well. and you know better then anyone that my fire technique takes over me when i get mad....

Kallen looks at him with a wry smile.
"Oh thats easy."
She stands away from him...Circle of fire circle of flames. A circle of fire winds its way around her playing and dancing licking the air. She then commands it back into her hands and extinguishes it.
"I can also sommun animals to aide me in battle. I have power in me. It is just blocked by my own lack of something. i'm not sure what. This is gonna sound like a bad come on but i feel drawn to you. I don't know why though."
Her last comment was more for her than him. Perhaps if she said it aloud she could pinpoint why.

Flask stands, leaning against the wall as Alkonost enters the room.
"So, what's this I hear about one Phoneix?"
Flask tosses away his spent cigarette and it bursts into flame, vapors before it hits the floor.
"Look, I'm going to make this simple alright. Stay out of my affairs and I'll stay out of your's. Now then," Flask takes a breath and straightens, stepping closer, "I have something I wish to speak with you about.
You and I know that Lem can't die so long as his soul is sealed in that egg. I like your plan of the feather and the wish but that relays on Swan being able to catch you.
I want to take more direct action. Whoever has the Wind Egg with Lem's soul in it also has the Fire Egg. Hope managed to collect all four of them."
Flask looks around quickly, making sure no one is listening in, "I can find the Fire Egg. We find the eggs and destory the Wind Egg. Ukko might be pissed but he's got important matters to attend to now.
Will you help me? Help me free Swan? Oh, and I'm sure the other guy who shot her will die easy enough since his soul isn't sealed in anything.
Well, what do you say? Care to give it a shot?
Of course... we could just see how well Lem does anyway. I figure, plan B, Lem has no tounge and he can't order Swan. Maybe we liberate his head from his body. He might not die but he won't be giving orders as long as we keep the two parts seperate.
Look, what I'm getting at here is together I think we can get her free."

i glance at her. drawn to me? heh, come now... we just met.... i grin and point my palm to the ground, roots from the trees come alive and start to go up her legs an wrapp around her, they tighten and stop her from moving, but dont harm her. i can somewhat summon animals as well...though i like the magic better.. i let her go and smile. from what it seems you can only control fire. i can control all the elements. though i guess that is what years of study can do for a person.

depends. in loving suzumi im guilty, but since when is love a crime, in treason i pleed not guilty, i am and always have been loyal to red infinity, i alwas sent in my reports close to on time, with everything the rebels did, that was my job... so i dont see how i am a traitor.

That was it. His hold on nature must be what draws me.

"I do rituals and spells to obtain what is needed. You are far advanced but i am a dedicated student. I use my book of shadows excuse the pun religiously. I could probably learn much from you. And you might learn something from me as well."
She walks over to him and stands a bit closer to him. "Its nice to have someone to talk to who knows about magick. Most people don't understand."

I bathe in the water, trying not to think of my troubles.
Finally, I change into my Swan form and drift there on the water for a while. I stare at my own reflection in the water. Somehow I have changed. I look older, my feathers grayer. I do not like it. Not at all.
I turn back into a human and wander back to the cabin.

I finally get to the cabin but I can't find Ruby. I decide to drp it, whatever she was so ticked about was probably all she needs, my company would just bug her. I grab the lowest branch of the nearest tree and hoist myself up. I find a comfortable nook and meditate. If anyone wants me, they'll see me there are no leaves hiding me so anyone who looks will notice me.

I walk through the door, and sense that Alkonost and Flask were talking about me. I do not acknowledge eitehr of them. I walk acorss the room, like a slow and quiet iceberg. "It really is a mess in here? Someone should do some cleaning."

Without turning around Flask raises his right hand and snaps his fingers. The trash, junk, and just about everything not in proper order ignites into flames.
In the span of only a few seconds everything is a fine ash. Flask throws his arm out to the side and all the ashes whirl into the air and out the window.
He turns to look at Swan and smiles, "We were just talking about you."
