He touches my face, and I tilt my head back in response, looking up at the coils of springs in the bunk above the one we are seated on.
I run my fingers through his hair as he lays with his head in my lap. His hair is thick and my fingers get stuck in it, but I comb through it with them until they move smoothly. With my other hand, I gently stroke his jawline, his rough shadow feeling like sandpaper against the fair skin of my hand.
I look down at his face, gazing once more into his deep, gray eyes. "I do not know why I would have such an effect on you. I guess I don't know if I have certain powers or not, I don't know much about myself. I will have to just live my life and see what all I am capable of."

Peter looks around the cabin but no one seems to react strangely to him. They must be used to people showing up then.
He turns and grabs a rebel by the shoulder, pinning her to the wall. "Where is your leader? Who is in charge here?"
"Bassarov... until he leaves." She pulls at his hand but it is as solid as stone. "He's out right now."
Peter releases her and moves out of the cabin. Standing in at the door he casts his gaze around at the rebels.
Then I wait.

I just sat there for a few minutes, as if in a trance. When the man left, I sighed with relief. Emerald glanced at me.
See? That's why you should avoid strangers. Learn from that experience.
Yeah, whatever... I murmured, petting Emerald.

The boat floats over the landscape once so well known by V�in�möinen, but now it seems so alien. He sees a cabin and a young man standing out side of it. The boat lowers itself to the ground and the old man steps out. 'Young man, would you, have the knowledge I'm seeking? Do you know what as recked this world that I hold so dear?"
