The Architects of Reality

[Misery]

I arrive at the Ministry of Terror, and place the two capitalists in their cells. I feel great. I completed a mission. But I also feel alone. I go back to my apartment, which I shared with Fate. I regret deactivating him. But why? He was a total psycho.
I sit on my worn out red sofa.
"Alone again..."

[Fate]

[Kisa Higurashi]

Seeing two people, a vampire and a girl knock on the cabin door, I tapped Usha on the shoulder. I then turned invisble.

I called over some wind, it picked up the two and flung them into the air. I let them drop, but had the wind repeat this move over and over.

What are you doing here? I asked, still invisible.

[Halo Dove Kuin]

Kuin catches Ki-lin as Kisa's wind drops her again.

"Good morning," he says, smiling sweetly. "Must be a good day if cute girls are dropping out of the sky."

He Angel blinks once and leans his face into her hair, smelling her.

"Hey!" He pulls his face out of her hair and looks her in the eyes, "Your a unicorn!" His nose twitches and his gaze shifts towards Auron. His lips twitch, close to curling back to bear teeth, "And you are a Vampire. Kisa, what's going on?"

[Kisa Higurashi]

I turned visble again and pointed at the girl that Kuin was carrying.

They're part of Red infinity! See the pins?

[Halo Dove Kuin]

"Well we can't have that." Kuin shifts his grip on Ki-lin, holding her with one arm, against his side. Kuin's embrace is as solid and unmoving as steel.

His free hand snaps out and an aura of white light explodes around him. Light gathers at his hand, swirling into a sun-bright orb of pure light.

"I don't like Vampires. Light Nova!"

He throws the ball, the blinding light streaking for the Vampiric Auron.

[Kisa Higurashi]

I turned invisble again and created a ball of my energy. Except this one was more of a gold color.

I also hurled it at the vampire. Gold Rush!

[Metsanneitsyt]

Blackrose and I ran over to Kuin to see what was going on. He was holding onto a girl and he and Kisa had just attacked a vampire.

Anything wrong? I asked.

[Halo Dove Kuin]

Kuin turns his head. His eyes have washed out with a blinding golden fire, the flames blaze out of the edges of his eyes and his teeth are too sharp, with slight fangs.

"They found us." He jerks down his free hand, a two foot piece of wood sliding out of his sleeve into his hand. With a twist a blade flashes out of the cover, uncurling to a four foot length. He rests the blade against Ki-lin's throat, blazing eyes staring at her.

"Now, just sit tight while Kisa dusts the Vampire. Then we can have a nice... long... chat about what you know about Infinity."

[Metsanneitsyt]

I strung my bow. Why now? We weren't ready!

I took out an arrow, incase Kuin or Kisa needed help.

[Peter "The Owl"]

Peter stands, leaving the girl to practice. He strides towards the others, pulling a sheet of paper from his coat.

"Alright Zero I'm taking this over."

He faces them all and crumples the paper into a ball.

"Time is short so were going to get you used to this fast. Black Ops are different from fights. You can't engage enemies unless the operation calls for it. There will be little fighting and much evading. Even when attacked you must escape, not fight."

He tosses the paper ball straight up and it bursts into flame. Behind him the sun sets, darkness washing over the land. A circle of light drops from the burning paper, a search light, about five feet across. Peter stands in the center of the light, the rest of the world fading even more, the night almost pitch black.

"Evade the light." He draws his guns. "Get caught in the light and the enemy, me, will open fire." He whirls the handguns. "This is a live fire excersise. Real bullets. I suggest you do well. We begin on the count of 10. Go now.

1.... 2.... 3..."

[lazy Suzumi]

Suzumi gazed inquisitively up at Riku,

"Hmmm...? Oh, I'm fine, really. Don't worry about me. So what's happening? Anything I should know about?"

'What have I missed? Everything just seems to be melded together right now.'

[Usha]

Usha stands by Kisa and notices that the two are from Red Infinity. She quickly turns into a bear and prepares to fight them. "Go away, why can't you Red Infinity people just leave us alone!!"

[Kith]

"Yes, Kaschei. dealing with the anarchists will be no trouble..." I look at Genovia who seems eager to kill.
I am not so eager. My heart is still heavy from killing Miss Rose.

We leave the Ministry of Terror together, and begin the hunt for Antero Black and Sasha Kropotkin.

Sasha...I remember him. He worked for us once. I was sent to kill him, and thought I had. So how did he survive? Is he the very same Sasha Kropotkin that I killed back when I was a youth...a prodigy of terror?

I survey the city for energy signals that seem large or out of place. When I find one, I trace it to a cafe, where, outside, I see Antero Black, Sasha Kropotkin, and two elves. I immediately recognise one as Daevid, the elf who advised me to leave.

"Those who know no rules will submit to the laws of Red Infinity or perish in deffiance." I say to them.

I finally get some action. Good. Training at the Ministry is a waste of my talents. I am one battle away from my true purpose: to kill Hope. I can take out these weakling anarchists no trouble. I stand in front of Kith and power up.
