The Architects of Reality

[St Celeste]

She rocked him and hummed. She used telepathy to see what he was so upset about. She saw so many images and they blurred together. She tried to soothe him to have him slow the images down but he was too upset. She continued to try and soothe him and calm his racing mind.

[Patrick]

The images were getting less and les intense, but they were still enough to worry Patrick. He shut his eyes, but was thrashing less. He mewed several times. His mother's attention was helping him a lot. Soon all the images had slowed to a managable speed and he opened his eyes. He looked at his mother. While she was soothing him, he was busy clawing at her. He felt an emotion he couldn't understand (self-disgust) as he looked at her multiple scratches and bite marks.

He looked up at her and all she could do was smile. Sure he had scratched, clawed and bitten her but it was ok. She had partook in a lot more physical pain in the last few weeks so this was nothing. She stroked his head and began to rock him again. She nuzzeled his nose.

"All is well my child. The nightmares will go away. And we shall see if this Patrick fellow is your father when we find him for Tabby."

[Patrick]

Patrick was still saddened to see his mother injured, but she seemed to be fine with it. He mewed timidly and licked her hand to show his thanks.

[St Celeste]

She kissed Leos head and held him close. She hoped he was better now.

"I had hoped you would nap a bit young man but it seems you aren't in a napping mood.....ever. I will have to go check out moscow tomorrow so i may have to leave you with a sitter." She laughs and bounces him slightly on her knee.

[Patrick]

Patrick mewed happily. He had no idea what a "sitter" was, but he didn't care, he just knew he was with his mother... nothing else mattered.

[Kisa Higurashi]

I suddenly woke up. I was still tired after Usha and I killed those Red Infinity soilders but I somehow couldn't get back to sleep.

I took out a book and began to read.

[Metsanneitsyt]

I looked up at the girl before me. Hi, I am Metsanneitsyt. But you may call me Metsa for short, I said shyly. Who are you? Would you like to sit with me?

[Elbereth BlackRose]

"I suppose."I say while sitting down next to her."I'm Elbereth.You can call me BlackRose.Its nice to meet you."

[Metsanneitsyt]

It is nice to meet you too, I said, smiling. I was glad to meet someone else who seemed very friendly.

[Elbereth BlackRose]

"So,what are you?You don't seem human."

[Metsanneitsyt]

I am a Dryad, I said. How 'bout you?

[Elbereth BlackRose]

"I'm a Ice Maiden.You really should try to sleep."

[Halo Dove Kuin]

"She's right you know," says a voice from the tree above them. Kuin lays against the trunk, vertical, bu tnot showing any signs of noticing his impossibe position.

"If you don't sleep, you can't dream. And without dreams," he smiles and shrugs, "How else are you going to remember my brother but through the perfection of the Dream?"

He rolls over, laying on his back and looking down at them. "Ah, the night is nice. The stars are out."
