"One second Gurth." Virgil snaps his head around and opens his mouth. His tounge whips out like a freakish snake, flying across the distance and wrapping around Vyne, binding her arms to her sides and lifting her off the ground.
She is lifted off the ground and carried through the air. Virgil holds her infront of him, looking up at her with his hands his pockets. His mouth is closed, his tounge between his lips at the corner of his mouth.
"Well," he says, apparently having no trouble speaking, "What an interesting flower to find in these field. Before you even try, you can't teleport out of my grasp little flower. One of the side effects of the magik in my system."

She looked him up and down, he was an attractive man, very well built and he had a very long... tongue.
"What makes you think that anyone would ever want to get out of your grasp? I am Vyne... and am I correct in assuming that you are Virgil?"

"That would be me." Virgil makes a flurish with his hands and a pair of knives appear in a burst of purple flame. He whips the knives very quickly, watching Vyne.
"What's a lovely Ruawi doing out here? Perhaps I should be more specific, one might expect to find a Ruwai in a flowery feild." He tightens his grip, his tounge constricting a little, "Why is a Ruwai teleporting behind me?"

I get a call from the League so I have to leave. I kiss Akira goodbye and say bye to Fascia, who is cuddling her new and nameless baby.
"Yo, I have to go. Duty calls..."
I head out the door for the League and sit down for what will be another boring meeting.

Vyne's eyes flashed as she spoke, her body felt very... contained by his tongue.
"Mmm... that's a talented apendage you have there. I wouldn't mind finding out what else it can do." She smiled.
"I think I was sent here to kill you." She gave a throaty laugh. "But one cannot just dispose of something as... enticing as you."

Virgil moves Vyne closer to his face, holding her horizontal, a few inches from his face. His eyes slip, three seperate sets of pupils circling each other, changing colors as they go.
"I suppose they think that because I'm mad I'm an easy target." Virgil's tounge suddenly retracts. The whole thing takes half a second and his tounge is back in his mouth. Vyne drops to the ground, unharmed.
"Who send you Vyne?"

I wake up with a monster hang over. Whooh...I had a little too much fun last night. I am on the sofa, and Alexander is on the floor. He is passed out too.
"Ugh...we should get up. Don't you have work or something..."
I never work. I pay people to work for me, but since Alex is not as rich as me, he might have to slave away like the ruled classes.

I backed away from the man. He was the one from my dream. Except he lacked his wings and the white fire. People from dreams usually don't exist unless you've met them before. This had to mean something.
Stay away from me! I snapped.
Had he come to hurt me? I wanted to yell out for Kallen and Maeda but decided against it. I can handle this myself...I think. I was frightened...although on the same time, I was attracted to this man...
