Virgil's form shakes. He can't move? Stone? d**n it! "Genki? D'amn, lost him. Can't beat that kind of tricks. Oh well, there are other ways. I'll get you sooner or later kid. "
He eyes Bass over his shoulder and smiles suddenly, sort of, hard to smile with a stone mouth. When he speaks his voice is almost a laugh, "Well, if the great revoluationary wants me to stop then I'd better do it.
Come on man. Newspapers? Leaflets? God, your fuc'ks are so stupid you don't see what's going on do you? Your losing ground Bass, your losing cred with the people, with the other rebels. You, fool, are soft."
Virgil shakes his head, very, very slightly, "Come and stop me if you wish. You can't win against me without your inner demon getting loose. And if it did, you'd only be helping our cause."
((Sorry Genki, had to modify my post. Didn't see your til after I made it. Boy, is my face red...))

Bassarov looks at Virgil who is a talking statue now. "The first front in this war is the ideological one. How can we overthrow Red Infinity without the help of the masses themselves?" Bassarov asks the statue.

It was my thist that was missing. My thirst for blood.
The Red Infinty put somethin in my stomach... It makes me feel hungry even though I ate. The only thing that will quench it, is blood.

"The masses? Those fools? The same ones who followed you? The same who support Infinity now, the ones who swoon at the feet of their wonderful Violet?!"
Virgil tries to move but his body is stone, making the simple action rather imposible.
"The masses are blind. They'll follow the lead once the winner is apparent. If you won't get the ball rolling, we'll find someone who will. Maybe your dear friend, Mr. Black. I'm sure he'd love to lead the charge into chaos."

"You act as though the masses are stupid. They are made ignorant by those who rule. So it was when Capitalists ruled and so it is now. There will never be true democracy until the people rule themselves. Revolution must be from the masses, not from revolutionaries like myself. I exist to show the way and open the minds of the masses, not to fight their war." Bassarov is not pleased with Virgil. "We are not nazis or fascists...there is no elite class fit to rule and to make decisions that are best for others."

"That..." Virgil's statue shifts slightly, "... remains..." A definite motion this time "... to be seen!"
The stone disolves into Virgil's normal clothing. The Hunter stretches and cracks his neck. "Genki is good at what he does. However, I have mastery over every cell of my being. Nothing lasts forever."
Virgil snaps his coat loose, the red leather crackling slightly. He raises a hand, pointing a finger at Bass. "Remember this Bassarov, and remember it well. The world is not what you believe. I assure you of that."
He starts towards the door, stopping just before he walks out. "The boy will be spared," he says without turning, "We can't get near him. He's pure as new snow. Besides, he's earned his freedom."

We are laying on our sides and I feel his nails on my back. I put my hands around his waist and I continue to kiss him. I take my hands off of his waist and play with the buttons on his shirt. I look up at him. You want to go to sleep with me tonight?

I walk back inside the villa. Bassarov is gone, which is just as well. I still feel a stirring inside of me when I think of him. I need to somehow get that feeling to leave. I go to the refrigerator and open it. There is nothing in the white box that will satisfy me. I close the door and walk out into the livingroom.
There are usually so many people about, but now I am alone. They must all be doing other things. I sit down on the couch. I should be doing something. I feel useless being here, not knowing anything and having nothing to do. Everyone seems to have a cause, everyone but me. I sigh and kick at some papers lying on the coffee table. They are some of Bassarov's writings. He is so passionate about communism, about politics. I wish that I could feel that same passion... about anything.
I pick up a blank piece of paper and start to write, perhaps I too can put my ideas down into something tangible. I stare at the page until my very brain seems to think only in white rectangles. I crumple it up and throw it across the room.
It is useless.
I shut my eyes and lean back. Will I be resigned to following others and sitting doing nothing for the rest of my life?
Images flash before my eyes. I see graveyards and trains and airplanes. I see dungeons and vampires and androids. I see it all.
My eyes snap open. My body is covered in a cold sweat. I remember... everything. I do not smile in response to this. My memories are not ones of joy, they are nothing to hold onto.
That was my life? This IS my life? I look at the door leading to Bassarov's empty room. HE was my life, but he has left me nothing. I stand up.
I will not resign myself to what was. I will make something of myself afterall, and I will not just be some whipped curr that follows brainlessly after one that does not care about me.
I need friendship, but moreso than that, I need a purpose.

Bassarov shakes his head. He is starting to like LIF less and less. He waits for Virgal to leave.
"Everyone, we have a new mission. I want to find out more about LIF. There is something not right about them... and their ideologies." Bassarov opens a book about the writings of Mousolini.
"They act...they act like a bunch of fascists...."
