"Mikomi has been very active as of late with a fox demon named Kinyo-bi. They are currently on a small island between Japan and Russia. That is all I know. Would you have me do anything?"

Ah unfamiliar voice answers the question.
"Who goes there? And who has access to the information? I have not sent anyone after Mikomi or to the Island. It is supposed to be a secret from us...."
I am shocked by this. Who is he, and how does he know what he knows.
Set confirms the information.
"Set, why is Mikomi helping the rebels? We had an agreement."

Grove traveled through the ground beneath the rider, unseen, and unfelt save for Roane.
Suddenly the trees surrounding the two as they rode the horse shot out at them. The branches lunging with unnatural speed and instantly snapping to the wrists and ankles of the man. It at the same time caught the legs of the horse, instantly holding them both in place.
In the same instant they were caught, the branches pulled back taught, making the mans arms and legs splayed out to the sides, away from Roane. This did however cause her to go flying through the air.
She did not hit ground, which would have hurt very much considering the speed of her fall, but instead landed in the soft catch of Grove's arms.
He did not look at her though, but stared at the man, his eyebrows nitted feircely, and he had an expression of anger Roane had not yet seen.

Suddenly, they were both gone. They had been transported through the earth, and the vines and trees let the man and horse go.
The area was now completely silent, as nature turned its back on the man...

He looks at her smiling as he gently runs his thumb over her hand.
"You have cheered me up brighteyes. I haven't smiled it seems in months."
He had called her a name but it felt so right. He hoped that she hadn't minded.

The fox found your android, Hope, about the time I found Calithin." The voice is suddenlt more solid and a little to the right. Out of nothingness a man appears, looking at a painting on the wall. He is dressed in tight cloths and his skin is covered with dark silk wrappings. He turns crimson eyes to Violet, his mouth hidden behind a mask that covers his lower face, "They are all housed with your lover's sister in their home. The fox sage wants something with Hope and Calithin. He has plans to kill Kuro."

"I must warn Mikomi to stay away from Red Infinity. We have operatives waiting to kill Hope and her friends. They are in Tokyo at the moment. Set, will you transform and fly me to the Island? We will speak to Mikomi and his master."
I look at the man in my office and recognise him as Kakashi, a Shinobi that does work for Red Infinity on occaision.
"You did good work, Kakashi. But why have you come to me? I am not your employer and I am not the one who gives you missions."

"My current employer is very interested in both your lover and in Calithin. I'm simply doing my job. As for telling you, why I'm just being loyal to my government." Kakashi's words are flat and hollow, his eyes swirling pools of blood red. "Anything else you need to know? I know quite alot."

"Your employer is interested in Mikomi? I think I know who your employer is and I do not much like this contract. I would like to see this contract terminated."
I think that Lin-Sat is his employer. Who else would send someone after Mikomi. Rrr, how frustrating. Well Lin-Sat, you can not control my life.
"I want you to take another mission. I give you the mission of spying on the rebels, since you seem to be good at spy work."

She relaxes as she is reunited with him and is fine as they travel away. She stays calm and breaths normally...if she was even breathing...
She knew that the earth was taking over for her and was being kept alive by her. Roane felt completely and utterly safe now.
