The Bourne Supremacy wasn't the shyt, it was just shyt. In the book, she doesn't die. Instead they get married and have kids. Totally different. The book revolves around her being kidnapped. You can imagine how different the movie had to be just from that simple fact. I saw Fahrenheit 9/11 and it was really good.

I thought Fahrenheit 9/11 was sub-par compared to Mr. Moore's other movies. It wasn't very well edited, and it focused too much on getting a gut enotional reaction through soldiers. It started strong by showing how stupid the government can be, but it quickly lost focus. Also, I thought that the name being blacked out on that document was hardly evidence. It was only a matter of privacy for the person whose name was blacked out.
Most of the info in the movie was old news for me. Still, the movie had some very strong points. I loved the ice cream truck, and the movie had some hilarious footage.
I'm suprised Michael Moore didn't comment on the fact that in the footage of Dubya during his college days, George lacked the Texas accent.

I think Bush is slow. Did you see the pictures in GQ mag? If you didnt, you should go look. They are embarassing. There is one with his mother dragging him from bed with a bottle of Jack Daniels in his hand and porn on the floor.
And did you hear about his part in Watergate?

Yeah I did. I completely dissagree with Fahrenheit 9/11 ((I AM A REPUBLICAN!!))
Yeah I heard about his part in Watergate.
But I really don't think Kerry should've won 3 purple hearts...I mean Former Sen. Bob Dole was in vietnam for god knows how long, and lost his arm.((Or got screwed up, I just got up, and am too groggy to remember anything))Kerry didn't even bleed...He was just standing there. All of his wounds were superficial. I don't really see how people are voting for Kerry because he is a Vietnam Veteran. Hello, there are over 2.5 millon veterans, who actually got hurt, and people are voting for Kerry who cut off civilians ears, head, and shot them. The only reason he got 3 purple hearts is because he was just standing there. He didn't get hurt, all he did was stand there, and people are voting for him because of that.

That's all good and fine, Kai, but what you fail to realize is what you get if you don't vote for Kerry - Bush. Even the Democrats don't like him, but who wants Bush back to screw up the world again for the next 4 years. Alot can happen in that time. I'm sure even some Republicans aren't very impressed with Bush's 'accomplishments' in office. I'm willing to argue with any Republican who thinks they can hold their own in a debate like that. Others, feel free to back me up.
Where is Peter, I need him to back me up on this one. ---- And commmenting on the Bourne Supremacy... was the camerman on crack?! I'm sorry but I can't get over the fact that the entire movie, the movie was pretty much blurry. The camera wouldn't stay still! And the plot was so... simple. Once Upon a Time in Mexico had a better plot. ;D Hey, I liked that movie , okay?

I seriously think I can hold my own against you on this topic.
Ok he He found a few WOMD's...Such as nerve gas...America is now probably more safe, because 2/3 of Al-Qaeda Leaders have been captured or killed. He Enforced the USA Patriot Act which allows federal law enforcement to better share information, Track Terrorists, and etc. The new department of homeland security suppliments the act, by enabling coasts and borders to be looked at closely. During Bush's term America has come through a Recession and many believe that the economy is on the path of growing stronger. Tax cut's will help America over a long period of time not instantly. These are just some of many things that Bush did during his term, or things that he helped happen.
Now I think if Kerry wins the election he will drive America into the ground, and all the acomplishments Bush has made will go to waste.
I would love to know what Kerry would do, or at least what you think.

Yes, all the magnificent accomplishments Bush has made...... like downward spiralling the economy, failing to address possible terrorist attacks that lead to the biggest tragedy since Pearl Harbor, bombing a country that didn't even attack us, etc. I'm sure we all want such a GOOD president back in office. Honestly, I think Nader should get it this time. I'd vote for him, cept 1. he's not going to win cuz no one votes for him and 2. he's not being allowed on the ballot this year becuz he takes votes away from democrats (one of the reasons why Gore lost). Honestly, I think we should make a time machine, travel back to the day before elections, show everyone what will happen if Bush is elected, and then elect Gore.

Yes, that is true, but the economy is coming back, slowly. I mean these things don't happen in a instant...It takes time, and if you look at the stock market now, it is going slowly back to where it was before the war on terrorism. Did you even hear Al Gores speach's?
Look whats happened has happened. Bush had his bad decisions and good decisions. The only thing that matters now is what we do to prevent what has happened to us in the past to happen to us now. We will learn from our mistakes making America a very powerfull country. But to do this we need a good presidant, and right now that president is George W. Bush.
And did you just completely not read what I just said earlier. Precautions have been taken so that won't happen again.
Why are you taking a look at what could've happened and didn't. Stop living in the past...It's because people like you keep saying "What If" and not "Lets do something about it" is the reason that no action has been taken towards your beliefs.
((Not saying that I want Nader to become president this is just to people who keep saying "what if" or "We should've))

That's a big "what if." Too big to ignore. Too many deaths happened for no reason at all. I agree, we should do something about it, taking action now. We should vote in a competent president who won't overlook important documents that could jeopardize our safety.

And in this election do you honestly think that Kerry is the best one that you can choose?

You say the economy is on a rise and we gained 1 million jobs, but what happens when you lose 3 million jobs in the process. Somehow, I find it hard that telling the people who lost jobs that the economy is getting better will help.
You say tax cuts will help but have you ever heard of "Boom and Bust"? Despite what ever you do, there will always be recession and a rising economy. Even though I am mostly on the side of the Democrats even I wouldn't use the fact the Clinton helped the economy. The only reason we had no debt was because the economy was in its Boom phase. Tax cuts only reduce the amount of money that government gets, which hurts in the end, by the way. It will help in the short run but not help in the long run.
The Patriot Act - you obviously don't know much about it. The Patriot Act, at its core, funnels more money into the military. All your tax money is going into killing machines and bombs. Even though they say it works to help all the agencies and defend the country, it really stands for, putting more money into politicians and federal workers pockets and more money into the military. --- As a side note, Go Clinton! Go Gore!

I know that the Patriot Act does that. But I also know to keep a country safe you need to invest money in the millatary.
Boom and Bust...I have heard of that. Usually Social Democrats use the term. Boom and bust refers to the movement of an economy through economic cycles due to changes in aggregate demand. When a boom is going on, there is a high level of aggregate demand, inflation increases, unemployment rates fall, and growth in national income accelerates. During busts, or recessions, when aggregate demand is low, inflation falls, unemployment rises and national income falls. Everything that grows, falls...It is known for this to happen, but nonetheless, the Bust hasn't occoured yet. Yes it will, but when it does, we should think of something by then.
And you have to lose to gain. Eventually those 3 million people without jobs will get another job, but there will still be people without jobs. It can't be helped right now...But hopefully the boom will continue giving these people jobs.
The longer term macroeconomic effects of a tax cut are not predictable in general, since they will depend on what the taxpayers whose rate has been cut do with their additional income, and how the government adjusts to its reduced income. They can only be hypothesised. So what you say is just a guess on what might happen. You don't really know...You just making an educated guess. Let's stick to the facts here, and not beliefs, because I really can't come back with a witty comeback if all you have is a half baked belief that you and some other's have.
On side note, GO BUSH, why does it feel like I am one of the only people here who thinks Bush should win and not Kerry.

I don't like Kerry or Bush, but one has to be choosen. And that's why I'm glad I don't have to choose ;D Eventually in my life I'll have to pick, but that day is... actually, its only a couple of years off... ah crap. I'm so confused by politics, why can't it be really simple. Simple as always been good to me ;D Just to note: Anutsaka, money will always flow into the pockets of the people who we don't think 'derserve' or need it. But it does, and unless you can stop it, then quit arguing and whining about something you can't prevent. If you can do it, then do it!

Kai, I dont' know where you started using facts about the future. You've been saying that things will in the future. The only reason you say that against me is because you don't believe in what I believe. All your 'half-baked' ideas are what like to call speculation. Nothing you say is sure to happen anyways.
All I have to say, is why upgrade your military when you could lay the smackdown on any country anyway? You cannot help Iraq - period. You cannot instill a democracy because it will never work. If you retort by saying that fighting ensues and we must upgrade our military for fighting in Iraq, newer technology really won't help. The fighting will continue.

True, but what'll happen if you leave it like that. Eventually the same thing. Someone Tyrant will come to power, and abuse the country. You can't just leave it unattended. And advancements in Military Technology is needed, to prevent any American soldiers from getting killed. Well it depends on the kind of technology...But still...
If you just go and never look at it again, thousands of civillions will die. You can help them and others, by making a example. Other nations will see that freedom can be achieved.
"A new regime in Iraq would serve as a dramatic and inspiring example of freedom for other nations in the region," Bush said.
It is like a domino effect. If other nations see that Iraq achieved freedom, then they will strive freedom as well.
If we leave to early, it will lead to a civil war in Iraq.
