Yeah! The Pillows Rock! I just got the FLCL CD. Kickass stuff! Ride on Shooting Star is so cool. I always picture the vespa riding on it's own, like in the closing credits to the show.

Hellsing - The World Without Logos (Opening). It's what i'm ALWAYS finding myself listening to. At first i thought this was song was japanese with slurred voices, but i later found out that this song is gibberish with random words and things like that. here are the lyrics.
Don't be cool vibration Revlofantasy Tell me fool talk show day and rain Every stardom the rating Don't stop horror show inner darken Jus suc ra ra oh
Oh no harbor won't you buy valley show Take me want to talking revolution No havea won cheese have lay show (No have a want cha have late show) Diviphon de have worry star Shooby dooby doo shooby dooby doo durul Shooby dooby doo shooby dooby doo durul

Yeah, it's a good song. The lyrics totally suck, but the tune is awesome. Shine is pretty decent too. It doesn't exactly suit the series, but what the hell. 80's soft rock is still rock afterall. I like "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns and Roses. That song's classic. I'm sure tons of people hate it, but whatever.

Welcome to the jungle we take it day by day If you want it, you're gonna bleed, but it's the price you pay. And your a very sexy girl who's very hard to please You can taste the bright lights, but you won't get there for free. In the jungle, welcome to the jungle Fell my, my, my, my serpentine. Uh ah I wanna hear you scream And all that stuff....

Back to the topic of the band Kiss...
I think they were so funny. Their look and antics were so bad-ass, but the actual sound of their songs was rather pansy in comparison.
And really... they should have never taken their makeup off, it was their death toll.
Oh, and how can you not appreciate the Beatles? I understand that the music from the earlier years can be a bit much, but the smooth drug-induced sounds of the later sixties... man... classic. Give me some Eleanor Rigby or While my Guitar Gently Weeps anyday. Boy, and that George Harrison was sure good looking, wowser.

My particular tastes in music are very varied. I love classical music, especially opera arias and Impressionistic piano music (such as Debussy). I like oldies, especially from the late sixties. I am a huge fan of Janis Joplin and Simon and Garfunkel.
I like the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs, The Violent Femmes, Ani Difranco, PJ Harvey, The White Stripes, Lots of new wave music from various artists, Chasing Furies, The Cranberries, Anneuretical, Hello Blue, Evanescence,
and others.
I guess I just like music. I am not a fan of country music.
