Ceph walked into his room and sighed heavily..
Winter days like these reminded him of the events in the past.. He sat down on one of the chairs in the room and rested his head on the table.. Before he even knew it, Ceph was dreaming..
It was the first day of winter.. the dark clouds ran a mad race in the sky.. the strong, rapid winds, ripped through the leaves that were resting on the cold ground..
The sun seemed like nothing more then a faint spec of cold light.. The dry sands in the desert were blown off the ground and thrown into the sky..
over one thousand years ago..
In the dark desert, a large group of white haired demons traveled through the cold winds.. they were all wearing long brown cloaks to hide their pale faces. They all seemed to have a black aura that darkened every thing they walked by.
In the back of the large tribe, two children followed, trying to keep up with their "family". The smaller boy suddenly lost his footing and fell to the ground. The older looking boy stared down at his fallen brother and slightly smirked.
"Come on... get up, kid.. you don't want to be left behind again do you..?" He said.
The younger brother slowly shook his head and stood up next to his brother. "Brother.. i feel really sick.. there's so much pain in my stomach..." He said. "That's because you havn't eaten anything in days.." The older brother replied, his long white hair, flowing in the wind.
"..Neither have you!" the little one snapped. "Why aren't you like me and the others?!" He shouted.
The older brother flapped a hand at him and smirked. "I'm just alot tougher than you are, Ceph.." He replied. Ceph narrowed his eyes at his brother and turned around to catch up with the group. "hmph.. you better not be holding out on us, Ramirez.." He muttered as he started to run.
Ramirez lowered his head to hide his demonic grin under the hood of his cloak.
A few hours later the group reached a large city and sneaked into the dark streets. They needed to eat something.. before they all starved to death..
The only problem was, Demons were hated in discriminated at that time.. Ceph followed the group and looked to see where his older brother was, but he saw him nowhere in sight..
"Ramirez.. where are you...?" he muttered to himself and stopped running. The group went off without him..
He sighed heavily and pulled the hood to his cloak over his head, before running in the other direction in search for his lost brother.
Ceph walked down the dark streets, slightly illuminated by the tall, bright streetlights. The humans around him stared and glared down at him. Fortunately they didn't see him as the white haired demon, they see him as the weird kid with a hooded cloak. There was suddenly a loud scream in a dark alleyway, the humans didn't bother to even look to where the shriek came from.. they were too busy with their normal, boring lives..
Ceph quickly darted down the dark alleyway, curiousity getting the best of him. Another shriek rang through the air as a splash of blood stained the ground like red paint. As Ceph got closer he could see the dark figures of a young woman, torn up on the cold ground and.. a boy.. Ramirez??
"R,Ramirez?" The young ceph whispered. "Is that you...?"
The boy stepped closer to Ceph. When the light shined onto his face, Ramirez was clearly visible. He had a scary demonic grin on his face, along with a drip of blood trailing from the edge of his mouth.
"Ramirez!" Ceph cried. "What have you done?!"
Ramirez closed his eyes and tilted his head back, licking the rest of the blood off of his lips. "Are you crazy?! Do you know what happens to people who do things like this?!" Ceph screamed.
Before Ramirez could reply a few more dark shadows raced down the alleyway, toward the two Demons. "Now we're gonna get it..." Ceph said, backing up.
"Ramirez.. why..?" he asked his murderous brother. There was no answer.. "Ramirez?!"
He turned around to see that Ramirez was gone!
"There he is!! Capture him!!" one of the shadows commanded. "No!!" Ceph cried and started to run in the other direction. There was suddenly a loud BANG! Then.. silence..
Ceph layed there on the hard, cold ground, not moving an inch. A small crimson stream of blood travelled from his body and down the alleyway. He moaned in pain as he turned over. His whole body spasmed in fear, he placed his hand over the large, bloody hole in his chest.
The two shadows stood over him and stared down at him. Ceph stared back up at them, panting heavily. He let out another moan of sharp pain before he closed his eyes and passed out.
