I created this rpg on Oct 27 2003. To say that it has exceeded my expectations is understatement. I have been impressed with how the rpg has evolved and grown since then. I hope that the site continues to grow and change, but it is my greater hope that the rpg helps the members grow and change as individuals and as a part of the collective of humanity.
The goal of this rpg is to challenge young people intellectually and to give them new perspective about the world, politics, religion, and what it is to be human.
The RPG should be fun and creative, as well as educational and challenging.
This rpg is more mature than others and I advise young people not to join without parental consent. Issues regarding sexuality, the environment, gender, capitalism, socialism, class struggle, racism, genocide, rape, spirituality, religion, nationality, nationalism, internationalism, community, violence, peace, death, the meaning of life, etc. are all embedded into the plot and central characters of the rpg. I want this to be a fantasy, but it is fiction with purpose and is to be taken as mirror to the very real struggles in our own world.
I come from an atheistic revolutionary socialist perspective. To be honest, I have built the universe of the rpg around themes related to my own political agenda and personal beliefs. This does not mean I am not open to the beliefs of others. I welcome and respect them. I think that a myriad of ideas and perspectives on life and society help build the rpg and the members who participate it.
However, I will clearly state that this rpg is not run by someone who values the traditions of religion, capitalism, and American culture. This means that if you or your parents may have trouble with ideas put forth by the person who runs it, this is not the place for you.
I welcome anyone who is open minded, mature, and looking for a creative and sometimes challenging rpg.
I hope that you enjoy the rpg as much as I have.
