Rebels, are in essence, a broad group of people.

Main Goal: To defeat Red Infinity.

However, being a rebel means you are probably something else as well. No one is purely a rebel, fighting Red Infinity at all times.

You could, in essence, be part of the Green Party and join the Rebels. You could preach religion and peace, and still be part of the Rebels. You could be pretty much anything and then join the Rebels.

In fact, you would be better off being two or three different 'classes'. It adds flavor to your character and you have reason to interact in different aspects of the RPG that deal with other things than just defeating RI.

That is all true. The rebels is mainly a generic group of fighters or people who oppose Red Infinity, people with strong ideals or a purpose, often join the other rebel movements such as the capitalists, anarachists, or green party.


However, this does not mean we are without ideals.

Bassarov, Mischa, Sephos, Sayuka, and Axum are all revolutionary socialists trying to organize the rest of the rebels.

Since Red Infinity is omnipresent, isn't anyone who isn't part of the systems, i.e. anyone who is not Infinity members, are therefore rebels?

Because all the groups that are created are in direct violation of something that Red Infinity doesn't want...

Peter does raise a good point. But it makes sense, since no one would make a group that wouldn't encounter resistance. There would be no point.

Yes, that is correct, anyone who opposes Red Infinity, and even some who don't...are called Rebel...though that is just the term for the generic group of fighters Bassarov is in charge of.

Well I would like to have a group of Revolutionary Socialists...or Trotskyists, but since there are only Micha and I, that is hard.

So it is a hodge podge of rebels who are lead by two trots.

Maybe you could try going to a socialist website and advertised. Or, you could post information about different political affiliations on the information board. You could include things about anarchism, capitalism, and stalinism too. Having information about anarchism would be especially nice, becuase our group has some people that don't really seem to know what it's all about, except for "GOVERNMENT SUCKS AND STUFF."

I started to do that, but got busy and erased that board. It is a good idea, posting political group info. These sections can serve as question sections as well, where if someone has a political question they can go here and someone who knows the answer can field it.

I have invited members of SA to join the rpg, but it seems that role players and political people are two different crowds.

I am guessing Bassarov would like to keep this thread more geared towards political discussions about the selected group of people. I can think of no good reason to discuss the rebels since no one can be a true 'rebel'. Each of them belongs to some group and has his/her own set of beliefs other than rebelling.

Hey, I have a question. What's the deal with the Rebels and the Anarchists. It seems like they're either allies or members of the same organization. Can someone clarify for me?
