"She is your secritary? She seems.... ditzy, I think the word is."
Need to think of idle conversation, need to make her laugh!
"You should relax like this more often, Violet. Y'know, just hangin' out with me. Me and Set! Yeah, me and Set. We should all hang out and have fun like this more often! Its fun!"
He takes another sip of tea, hiding his blush once again.

I don't want to get turn into a kid again. I shut the door and decide to see Roane, just becasue her name was said first.
I should've asked where the Green party HQ was! I bet it's in a forest. I'll find it, sooner or later. I hope sooner... I start looking through woods.
This is going to take forever.

D'amn, but was it hard to cheer her up!
"I figured that, Violet. What I meant was that you should be more lousy gousey. Don't strain yourself and stretch to thin. You don't look pretty when your all uptight. Jsut relax a little bit at a time and take everything that life throws at you with a smile. 'Grin and bear it' like my mom used to say!"
He couldn't think of a joke to make her laugh! Argh! He sipped his tea quietly and glanced at her from out of the corner of his eye. He worried about her, even though he had only known her for a couple of days.

She had smiled, and she was making him laugh! Good job! He put down his tea and smiled at her.
"It takes years of practice."
He says sagely then looks at her and laughs.
"Actually, I was born with this disposition! I can't help but be nice and cheerful! If your not happy, your usually sad, and how productive can you be if your not happy with your work? Responsibility is wasted when you are overhooked on it. People mess up, and the world keeps spinning. All I can do is live with it. If I kill myself, I lose and they win. Think of it like that, and its hard not to be happy."
He thinks for a moment, decides what he said is accurate enough and then take a sip of tea.
"Mmm... this is good! What kind is it?"
She had called him adorible! Yah!

D'amn it! I am done for the day this time, period! my mind screams as I finally back away from the progressive press. I walk into the kitchen part of my apartment, light up and start to make a sandwich. I am bored out of my skull and desprately am hoping someone will stop by...
(got to go feed my fish, which is no trivial excersize when you consider how many I have, brb)

"Well, the way your raised does have a tendency to effect your life style. I guess I'm kind of an exception. My family was always h'ell bend on making me a slaughtering machine. But, it never really caught on."
He grins over at her.
"Come on! Just laugh! Just once? Please? I'm begging you!"
God! This was hard, he had to resort to begging, even if it was jokingly.

Damascus jumps as he hears Set.
"Wow! You scared me! Since when have you been there?" He says jokingly.
His cheeks color slightly.
"Uh, of course I care about Violet! She's my friend and she saved me from a cruel fate. What's not to like about her?"

Could I even laugh any more? Had I become so serious and reserved that laughter was beyond me?

"Yeah well, Lin-Sat's not as nice as you, now is he? He's a complete jerk! Your a much nicer person, Violet! Does Lin-Sat sit at his desk all day and do all of that paperwork?"
His smile slipped for only a second and was back on in a heartbeat.
"Of course I worry about you! Stress can kill you if not releaved now and again! I've seen it happen, its not pretty."

"I think that if you were the one leading, it would be a much better place for us, much faster. I don't think that Lin-Sat has done anything to improve living or the enviroment, has he? Then again, I'm not a political kind of guy, so its all kinda confusin to me"
