I decide that I will pay Zero a visit, seeing as I have no friends or love life of my own. Yes, it is amazing how dull my life actually is. But I am above such triteness as relationships
I knock on her apartment door
[glow=violet,2,300]Americanski, you in?[/glow]

I hear Sayuka outside. "Yes, please come in!" I say, glad to talk with a decent woman for a change. "Please, just call me Zero. I prefer it." I rummage through my cupboard and find the tea that I bought last time I went shopping, not the fancy green tea that she likes, but tea nonetheless. I start a pot of water boiling.

[glow=violet,2,300]Have you been well, Zero?[/glow]
I take a seat in her kitchen and await the tea.

"Quite. Except for my arm I feel pretty good right now. And that just hurts because I've been operating that reloading machine for 20 hours." I explain. "I am trying to do more work to benefit the Rebellion."

"I have often considered a coup to over throw Lin-sat and his lackeys. But I know that I am too weak for such a thing, and if I openly sought allies, I would be purged from the party."
I am not sure why I am confessing such things. It is a dangerous thing to talk about.

[glow=violet,2,300]I must contribute more myself, though I did fight the dragons when they came. I guess fighting is my contribution to the movement.[/glow]
When I think of it, Zero and I are not so different. Neither of us fit into the mold of the typical female. We are both strong and above the roles long assigned to our gender

"Ah. I am a fighter by birth and so far I haven't done a lot of that for the REbels. This is totally unlike when I worked for Lord Tepes, when I generally had to kill several people a day." I say openly. Even though I am more glad than anything to be free I am not at all ashamed of my past.

[glow=violet,2,300]Yes, I have heard about your past and how you were a slave to the FRA. I can not imagine living in such a way...without freedom. But you seem to be adjusting well. You are more human that many people[/glow]
I take a sip of tea.

I laugh out loud at that one. "Me, more human than most? I'd call myself a cold-blooded b'itch, but I'm so un-femanine that I don't think that term could be applied to me." I take a sip of the almost boiling hot tea. I prefer coffee, but since my guest likes tea I'll drink it too. "But thank you for the compliment. Now, would you like something to eat?" I ask her.

[glow=violet,2,300]Not all females go to the mall and obsess over who they are going to date. I surely am not one of them. Some of us fight for things greater than ourselves. And this is honourable whether you are male or female. If you think that being a woman means being "feminine" you are mistaken.[/glow]
I explain as I drink the tea
[glow=violet,2,300]Coffee is too strong for me, so I appreciate the tea[/glow]

"I know next to nothing about womanhood. Where I come from being born female means that you will be raised to be a Ninja, whereas being born male means you will be a mecha pilot or field commander. The differences that society placed on males and females were almost nonexistant. The only reason females are raised as ninja is because we are physically better adapted for it." I explain. I am eager to learn about womanhood now that I know it doesn't mean acting like Helene and Anna...

[glow=violet,2,300]Because of my political beliefs, I view gender as a social construct. Women are socialized to act weak and be reliant on men since that is in the interest of the ruling class. Under Red Infinity this has changed slightly, though many women cling to those old roles which require us to be submissive, domestic, and emotional. [/glow]
I take another sip
[glow=violet,2,300]Anna and Helene, as well as many women that I have observed, fall into that role. I am glad that you do not. [/glow]

"Thank you. And you are correct, even though there is a biological reason for men to be dominant the real reason for women not being so is because no one has bothered to change it... Nintey precent of my victims were men, and I don't think any of them expected that I was there to kill them..." I start to get some dry goods out of the cupboard, rice, pasta and so on. "So, what do you want?"

Askura smiles at the compliment of from her name, and thanks Paradox for the cat food, yet she did perfer catching fish. when they reached the door, askura spoke up. " Well..If he isn't here now, would u mind if i tag along with y'all? I mean i have no where to stay in this town, i could find one, yet that would be boring...and i haven't talked with another cat demon in months.." Askura said smiling weakly, for the last cat demon she had talked to was her father, and well she killed him.
