i glare at him. "so that is the zohar?...., but how is it activated...., dammit..., oh well... i will defeat you. my gear takes energy directly from the zohar universe, so it wont quit on me like the other gears. it doesnt run on fuel, just energy.... so all i have to do is hang on while you waste your fuel... my father and i spent almost my whole life building and researching about gears and the zohar... i will not let our creation lose...". i clench my teeth, still glaring at his gear. *come on militek, we cant lose.... not to him.... i refuse to...*. "... why not leave.... ashen is not here... he left for helsinki right after we captured a rebel...". i pull back the whips and instead make them wrap around the arms of militek, still charging them with electricity. "..., lets see how much electricity hurts that thing, alright militek...". i charge forward and punch it with my right fist as it sparks with electricity

Louhi can not move the blade from her body. How is it this god is more powerful? She is the goddess of darkness. What was going on?
"I will see you in hell one day Satsujin. Count on it."
She writhes but is unable to get free. She flails and thrashes causing nearby remnants of buildings to crumble.

I walk through the halls of the Department of War to the counsel room. The recent rebel surge is causing me concern, and I feel that it woudl be prudent to examine the maps of Helinski.

I flinch as I catch the fist. My gear suddenly seems to change, a gray image superimposed over the red one.
"Ashen! Where... help!"
Suddenly, I snarl, and jump backwards, charging a ball of chi in my hand and releasing it at the other gear.

"So they did not survive...."
She trailed off as the realization hit her. Their kind could be killed in one way only. To think they died in such a horrible fashion.
"I see...but how is this my fault? I did not expose us. I lived in the mountains with Franco. We were isolated. Yet i see that perhaps word leaked out. Perhaps it is my fault. Mother and father...i am sorry my dear brothers. I...this is so much..."
Katya continues to cry and wipes her tears with a kerchief.

I notice the reincarnation of the ancient general walking about the counsel room. "Greetings General Zhuge. I am General Kolov, head of the Ministry of War. Is there anything I can help you with?"

((It'd be Liang, that's his normal name. Zhuge is the family name. And I have no clue what the hell "Zhurge" is.))
"Ah, General Kolov." I say, bowing low. "I was merely going to inspect the maps of Helinski. The recent rebel uprisings have troubled me of late, and I believe it would be prudent to map out a strategy to utilize against them."

i put up both of my arms, their sides together, causing the electricity to snap around my middle section as the chi energy hits it. i get thrown back through a few buildings, stopping a few blocks away as i get my balance and deflect the energy away. "... come on, militek can do that as well.... do you honestly think i wouldnt put armor on that can deflect energy if i know about it... i took out all of the weaknesses from him". i charge forward again and let the whip around my left hand go back into the arm as i charge an ki blast in it, i throw my arm forward as i launch the blast at him, getting ready to lash the whip out at him in a few seconds

"Of course... These rebels need to be pacified, perminantly if possible. Feel free to make use of our resocures to accomplsih your task." I say. Had my plan worked all of the important rebels would be dead now...

"My thanks, General. Tell me, how many soldiers do we have available at the moment?"

"It's your fault because you were too trusting." Ulgin crosses his arms over his chest, "The attack came in daylight, when we are weakest so they knew about our power. That could have happened a few ways.
But they also come in through one of the secret passages." He narrows his eyes, "Through your passage Katya. There's only one way they could have knew where that was."
He frowns and drops his arms, "Your darling Franco sold us out! Having you wasnt enough, he wanted the family out of the way. He knew we would have come after you. And he saw to it we couldn't..."

"The Ministry has direct access to fifty million infantry and a hundred divisions of tanks. That comprimises the bulk of our conventional forces." I state.

((Oh yes, I almost forgot. The thing about the gear not using fuel, even Omnigears, those empowered by the Zohar, are bound by the limitations of fuel. Even the Xenogear, which is THE strongest gear, period, needs fuel. I don't think the technology would allow for gears to run without some sort of real, expendable fuel.))
Id, exerting iron control over Fei, jumps up, using the boosters to fly over the attack, and unleashes several more chi balls at the enemy gear as it jumps over it.

I nod.
"Very well. I believe I can devise an appropriate strategy. Would you like to accompany me general? I am afraid my experience in battle is limited to those that took place thousands of years ago, and your own experience may see problems that I do not immediately discern."

"Yes I will accompany you. However I anticipate that you will learn quickly." I state.
(Tech moderator: The equipment needed to run on zero-force or ambient energy is far too bulky to fit on a veichele as small as a Gear. A nuclear reactor, either fission or fusion, is a more appropriate long-term power source.)
