i look towards the kitchen and rub the back of my head. &looks like i moved in the knick of time..., she probably would have suspected something if she saw me sitting with my arm around hikari*. i sigh and look at the two girls again. ...so?, i glance behind me slightly. ~violet*... are you ok?~

Larva now sat in a video game arcade. He watched as people stared blankly at screens and wasted their money on something that would never help them along in life. He remebered his long decades in America when it hadn't been a complete hell hole. He also remembered his days when America was a hell hoole. He'd killed many of his own kind in those days. Demons everywhereknew his name and feared it. Or they knew and hated him. He knew kany who did both, and their fear feuled their hatred. Being an arch-demon would do that to you. Arch-Duke was the more used term nowadays, but he was a little old fashioned like that. He wondered if Ikue-chan would care about that. She might, but it didn't seem that serving Violet, the clone of a impossibly powerful demon, faze her. So, maybe he wouln't btoher her that much. Someone occasionally tried to talk with him, but they got angry when he remained silent. He didn't feel much like talking, especially to these game junkies. He continuedto revise and edit his 10 page long love letter to Ikue-chan. It was now more like a romantic short story, to be honest.

i glance behind me again. ~violet*... oh?,... you do seem alittle less stressed today, but you still seem like you have alot on your mind, strain on the mind, and strain on the body can be harmful...~. i look forward as i start floating and cross my legs. ~violet*... who was that guy here earlier?..., not that it is any of my business, its just, he looked familuar...~

Very carefully I attach a manual transfer pump to a barrel of Jp-5 kerosene. I begin to pump the jet fuel into the canister, a process taking about two minutes which leaves my arm somewhat cramped from the repetitious circular motion of running the pump.

i look back out of the corner of my eye. *oh....*, ~violet*i see....., hmm, then perhaps it was during my studies that i saw him from..., hmm, sixteen?~. i bit my lip and look at hikari. i shake my head slightly. ~violet*, oh yea. before i forget, there was a demon here, ... his name was larva, doesnt talk much though..., he came to be your butler, he's alittle too attached to the job though...., he should come back soon. i would have found out more, but i try not to read minds that often any more. and he has a mask that blocks it... and keeps his demonic power in check, so i didnt want to risk it~

i smile slightly and look at ikue. ~violet* yes, she does do a good job, and i didnt really think you needed one, but oh well... i will try to be more friendly towards him when he returns. though, there is something about him that irritates me....~, i shrug it off and turn slightly as i float in the air. ~violet* sure there isnt something bugging you?... as you said before, it is late. and you have work in the morning dont you?~

HAving once been human myself I can understand human urges, but it's when these animal instincts are elevated above the need to serve one's master that it became a problem. "And please, conventional weapons only." After all, I can't risk giving weapons of mass destruction to someone like this.
Whilst I am talking I foreward a letter to Lin-Sat, requesting that all nuclear weapons and all other WMDs be transferred to the ministries of War and Defense, on a basis of the weapons intended use. After the near incident in the Ministry of Science I want all such weapons confined to those ministries experianced in their use.
