I nod, and am a little worried about her not directly answering my question.
"Well you see, that's why I came here. Your approval rating is through the roof right now, which means you can get away with pretty much anything. You could destroy the earth if you so desired. Considering that such an action would be detrimental to all sides of the equation, perhaps then it is time to move against the rebels? They haven't been much of a threat as of late, their rankings are fragmented and their leadership is centralized, but we could blame something on them, and swoop in. What do you think?"

I wait a few seconds after Liang leaves, then say "I want you to swear allegiance to Red Infinity for your own saftey. Lin-Sat is very good at purging those with halfhearted loyalties, if nothing else..." I pause for several more seconds.
"I am assigning you a bodyguard. You were quite correct when you said that the LIF would hunt you into your grave, and at least for the moment I need you..."
