Matsumura slid his sword under Nova's scythe and stabbed Nova in the chest.

Nova winced in pain, as blood dripped down his body. He grabbed onto Matsumura's sword with his bare hands. The blade cut into his hands, but he ignored the pain. He pulled the blade out of his chest. He then kicked Matsumura in the stomach and held onto the blade, knocking Matsumura back and disarming him.

"You...... bastard! Give me back my sword!" shouted Matsumura. Matsumura charged at Nova and sent a blast of energy at him.

Nova charged Matsumura's blade and threw it back at him, through the blast, splitting the blast in two and shooting each half in a different direction.

Matsumura saw the sword at the last second and flipped to the side to dodge it. He continued to charge at Nova.
"This is it Nova! Show me your ultimate technique!!!!"

"I thought you'd never ask!!!" said Nova as he created five fire balls. He threw the first one at Matsumura.
"DIE!!!"

Matsumura sidestepped and dodged.
"Is that the best you've got?"
Matsumura continued to charge at Nova.

Nova threw the second blast at Matsumura.
"Let's see how you like this."
Right before contact, it split into two balls.

Matsumura dodged one and blasted the other, taking minimal damage from the explosion of the two blasts.
"Try again, fool!" shouted Matsumura as he continued to run towards Nova.

Nova sent the third blast at Matsumura. It was heading straight for him, and then it disappeared. It reappeared behind Matsumura and continued to head for him.

Matsumura didn't notice the blast behind him until it was too late. It hit him with it's burning force and knocked him to the ground.

Nova threw the fourth blast into the air. It split into tons of little blasts of fire and they showered down on Matsumura like meteors.

Matsumura looked up at the falling blasts, but it was too late. They fell onto him like burning rain.
"AAAAHHHHH!!!!" cried Matsumura as the drops burned at his skin.

"And now to finish it!" shouted Nova.
He threw the last blast, which picked up energy and grew with flames as it travelled through the air and headed directly for Matsumura. Nova saw it explode. Smoke covered the area, but Nova was confident that his blast destroyed Matsumura.

"So that was your Pyromortis technique? Pretty impressive.... there's just one problem. I'm not DEAD. You know, you're just a pathetic fool! When will you learn? I am the true Angel of Death!!!!" said Matsumura who had teleported behind Nova to avoid the blast. Matsumura reached around and grabbed Nova's scythe, using his elbow to hit Nova in the face for a disarm. Matsumura held the scythe in the air.
"Souls of the restless Angels, COME UNTO ME!!! Light this weapon with your immortal spirits and give me the strenght to defeat my enemy!!!!" shouted Matsumura as the blade of the scythe began to glow with white light.
"Now, you DIE.... NOVA!!!!!"
Matsumura slashed Nova with the Bane of Fallen Angels. The attack caused an explosion on impact.
