I hurl myself downward, stopping mere inches above the ground. I quickly pocket my pistol and draw a wakizashi which, along with my katana, are suddenly surrounded by a pale blue glow. I fly right through the cloud, dragging my anti-chi charged blades across Kaitalish, then fly above him and fire another psi-lance at him.

As Zero moves towards me, I make no move to dodge. Instead, I unleash a burst of black fire from around me, which ignites the tainted cloud, causing a massive ball of dark flame.

When I see the ball of fire I quickly alter my course, missing the fireball by mere feet and picking up a few flash burns. "d**n YOU!" I shout, and launch my psi lance into the heart of the fireball.

Our lances meet and destroy each other. As the fire burns down I sheathe my wakizashi and fire a salvo of four anti-chi charged bullets at the beast. AT the same time I circle around him, hoping to hide in a blind spot.

I take the shots, a shriek of pain emerging from my beak. I fly towards Zero and unleash a thin beam of energy that should lash her to me, allowing me to drain her lifeforce.

The beam crosses my foot and doesn't latch, but a wave of fatigue passes through me. I temporarially lose control of my flight and tumble off behind some buildings... I recover before hitting the ground, and then land before running for some cover.

I saturate the air with another tainted cloud as I fly towards her, continuously emitting it.

I close my eyes and exhale, then inhale deeply. I charge myself with electricity and my blades with anti-chi and, holding my breath, hurl myself across Kaitalish's body, trying to dig my katana into his flesh.

I howl in pain as the katana sinks into my flesh.
That was... unwise...
The ichor from my wound bursts into black flame, which once again ignites the tainted cloud into a massive gout of black fire.

This time my pants are ignited. I quickly extinguish them, but not before everything below the knees is gone and I pick up some fairly nasty contact burns. I quickly land right in front of the subway enterence and, throwing all my energy into one last attack, hit him with a combined pulse of telekenisis, chi and electricity. I then half run half stumble into the metro...

I reel back from the attack, and when I regain my vision, my quarry is gone. Angry, I drift away.

Exhausted I make my way back to the control room and say to Misha "Comrade, a bit of advise... Never EVER attack a dark Pheonix solo!" I lean up against the wall and slowly sink down until I am sitting on the ground. I light a cigarette and say "I'll be able to help you soon, but I need to rest a few minutes at least..."

After laying out the floor plan, I teleport to Anna's office. It look slike shes sitting in the chair, doing paper work.
"Hey, pretty girl."
I see stacks of papers. I realy am amazed, even I couldnt do that kinda work. I hate paper work.
