Randis's back seems to arch, before it falls to the ground, the thrusters extinguishing.

"I haven't seen you forever Brady. Where were you? Playing Diablo 2 or something?"
I smile and give Brady a really big bear hug.

He was never walking back up here again, he hated stairs. Damasucs asked the secretary to tell Violet that he was there to see her, if she wasn't busy that was. He sat down in a chair, breathing only slightly heavily.

"Oh..." My eyes dim down as I look towards the ground. "What if I worked for you? I'm certain that if I ever figure out how to use these electronic enhancements I can be of great use to you."

Zelos watched as Randis fell to the ground and slowly began to decend. Leiga took this chance to take a deep breath and settle himself down. "Is it... over..?" He whispered to himself.

I walk out of the party my father is holding, and I rest my arms on the railing of the top floor deck.
My dad's being too careless, we need to take part in this machine war. We could go through demolished cities and claim them for our own.
I decide to contact all the capitalists with a message that reads :
All Capitalists, meet at Dinari's Party. I will send you the coordanites, just come as quickly as possible. We will hold a meeting on what to do about the machines.

I inform my secretary that I can now see Damascus, while looking over the latest reports.
"Yes, you could work for me. We always need more staff around here. You could work as my secretary, making sure not just anyone gets into my office. Of all things, my secretary allowed a rebel into my office last night. He was a relative of Bassarov's as well. Truly, I need better staff members."

( How'd you know? ;D ) " I was trying to find you! "I say, almost in a shout, but quieter. " What should we do now? Maybe we should help destroy that big robot thing-a-majig. "I suggest, pointing to it through the forest.

"Sure that sounds like a super idea." I take Brady's hand and we go back to where the other rebels are. It looks like they made a hole in the machine. I see Zero.
"Are you going to put explosives in there? Need any help?"

That is just degrading, I am a leader, not a follower. I am the God of Machines! Not to mention that I am a Nazi, not a filthy, two-bit communist! the voice inside of me says. But I try hard to bury it. "I will try my best to serve you, but it will take me some time to learn. Perhaps I should spend some time here and attempt to learn my duties."

"That is fine by me. I don't normally have any female company, so I don't mind if you sit and watch me work. It will help you get a feel for your own job." I smile and grab another file from on my desk.

Devin had left the restaurant confused and agitated. He was not sure what to make of the whole encounter. Was she trying to play with him? Was she trying to make friends? Did she really mean what she said? No. She couldn't have. Her words were so far out there they were beyond Devin's comprehension. He decided to try and put the whole encounter behind him. Drowning himself in his sorrows would be a good way to do so, so he headed for the center of the city. He looked around at the decaying buildings, hoards of ragged people, and lack of nature, hoping to draw his mental focus on the physical. After a short time of this however, he found it of no use. His thoughts kept drifting back to her words. He had always viewed himself as being boring beyond measure, uninteresting, unattractive, and easily forgotten. Her words were in direct contradiction of his thoughts, which up until this point might as well be set in stone. Then she came along, with the proverbial dynamite to shatter his thoughts and strew them about. It was true too. He was finding it very difficult to concentrate. He kept trying to focus on the external, but his mind jumped back to the mental. Trying to walk down the street without bumping into someone was getting more difficult as his thoughts raced far faster than any normal humans thanks to his intellect. He decided to sit down. He had almost knocked over 2 people since he started walking, practically getting down on hands and knees in apology, and belittling himself to nothing more than a parasite. While sitting he placed his hand to his forehead, letting the weight of his upper body rest on his arm that was propped up on his knee. Interesting... Cute... Those words rang in his ears, ricocheting inside his head, tearing through the soft flesh that was the fragile framework of his mind.
He sat, trying to grasp their meaning, why they had been directed at him, were they lies, were they only words used to gain his trust. Thinking at a million miles a minute, the world passed him by without him knowing. Without him caring...

I set my torch down and say "Yes, I could use a break. I need to get down at least another three meters before I fire the first charge, otherwise we'll just detonate ourselves." I pick up the torch. "Just use the flame to heat the metal until it glows and squeeze the lever to cut." I put a cigarette between my lips, light it with the torch, and hand the torch to her.

Randis lies on the ground, the "veins" on its body glowing with red light. It makes no movements.
