I pick up a different torch and aim it at the wall like Zero was doing. Gas fumes out of it, then lights. I heat like she told me, then cut. I do this in 1 inch lengths.

Zelos landed on the ground beside Randis and looked down at him.
Leiga tried again with the communication and sent a transmission to Vhaan.
Hey! You alright in there?? Hey!

[Damascus]

Being told he could go in, Damascus knocked before coming in. He waited for a few seconds, then opened the door. It was only polite to knock first, it help to avoid so many akward moments. He smiled at Violet, and to the girl sitting in a chair before her desk.
"Good evening Lady Violet. I'd like you to know that I'd be happy to now assit the Ministry of Peace whole heartedly, and I would also like to clarify something. Should we, the dragons that is, should we be attacking the machines with the rebels, or shall we wait more? Ashen was curious as well." He asked, voice jovial along with his manner.
He was beginning to feel better, more and more like himself and not the horror he had been.

[Erika "Zwei" Faust]

I pull my chair up to the front of Violet's desk and look at the papers. My eyesight is very poor, I can only see one color at a time and at a very low resolution, and I can just barely read the text on the pages. "This will be difficult for me... I can barely read this." I hold a page close to my face. "There... Now, what do I need to do?"

[Vhaan Diel]

"What the bloody hell did you do? My systems are shot, I can't move!"

I reply irritably.

I unlock the cell to the capitalist angel.

"Hello Anima, your crimes against the government were not so great and you have served your term of imprisonment. The Ministry of Peace has decided it would be a crime against humanity to keep you here any longer, therefore you are now free to leave. However, Red Infinity operatives will be watching you over the next 6 months. If you are caught rebeling again, you will be sent to Siberia to a forced labor camp for several months.

["Zero" Americanski]

"No no no, Brady... You're using that wrong. Make one slow, continuous cut or that'll take you a week to finish." I drag my cigarette, then say "We need to get some thermite. Then this wouldn't take so long."

[Leiga]

"Shutup! You brought this upon youself!" He snapped back.
"You shouldn't have been so careless!"

[Steve Fox]

Steve's cellphone suddenly beeps. He looks around, suprised, then pulls it out and checks the message. A text message from Richie. Something about a gathering.

Steve freezes. Their hooking up again? He stares at the message for a few seconds then looks up at Cynthia. He smiles, and clicks the delete button. "Sorry, it was a wrong number."

[Brady]

" Okay. "

I cut slowly but in a longer line.

I shrug my shoulders.

"My actions are for the greater good of all. If they need conflict with Red Infinity, so be it."

I exit the cell, and bow gracefully to Aung San Suu Kyi as my wings reform, the strands of light moving seemingly of their own accord. I calmly walk out of the prison without looking back.

[Lady Violet]

"Damascus, it is always good to see you. I am glad that you decided to cooperate with the Ministry of Peace. Currently, the dragons have failed to stop the machine due to an energy shield. Right now, they are under no orders to attack the machine considering the futilitity of all attacks against it."

I look over some photos that our spies have recently submited to me.
"Zwei, you will wait here with me until we get some photos of the inside. But tell me, you knew Unit 4 the best. Was she ever emotional? Was she ever attached to anyone or anything? Did she ever once respond emotionally...to anything?" I ask Erika. Knowing this will be key to stopping the machine.


"Damascus, you currently have no orders other than the constant orders all operatives have to work on solutions to destruction of the machine. Do you have any idea what might thwart a hologram woman bent on uniting all the machines of the world into a machine collective?"

[Vhaan Diel]

"Careless I disagree! Just because I have a prototype gear that doesn't have all the hacking protection that yours does warrants you calling me careless? Pah! You brats are all the same. When someone hands you the newest model you suddenly think its because you're exceptionally talented or that you actually deserve it."

[Erika "Zwei" Faust]

"I don't remember... I still can't remember anything. I can recall some emotions. I feared her, but here's something more. What was it? I think she was disgusted at me. At all humanity."

"Where the hell do you get off?!" Leiga snapped again.
"Your not that older then i am.. and you almost got killed!!" He shouted. "You should be thankful! I'm supposed to be killing you right now!"
