"You are right. He is simply an irritable man." I recieve a report from the Ministry of War over the fax. I do not feel like reading it. I wish I could have just a few moments peace.
"I have a headache, can you tell me what the Ministry of War has to say?" I ask Zhuge, handing him the fax.

I hurry up to Lin-Sat's office with a huge file of papers. "Sir, beleve me when I say that I do not know how this happened. Sure the ship has enough fuel oil onboard to operate for a month, but the reason I didn't use it before is because it needed major repairs."

I quickly scan the paper.
"Are you sure you want to hear about this my lady? I can take care of it for you, you do so much already you needn't burden yourself with a matter such as this."

Steve opens the door to the apartment and walks inside, wiping at his face every so often to keep the sweat out of his eyes. He doesn't se Cynthia in the main room so she's either out or doing something someplace right now.
Without giving to much thought, Steve turns and walks into his room, grabbing his duffle back and pulling out a fresh shirt. He peels off the sweat shirt, then his workout shirt, and tosses them onto the bed before pulling on the clean shirt, a gray t-shirt with a iron on that says "Queensbury Rules" on the front.
He pulls a hand towel out as well and wipes his face and hair down fully before turning around and walking back into the main room. He fancies a bit of a sit before he goes out tonight. Maybe he could catch up on his reading. He had a few books he always meet to read in the duffle bag. But for now, just a sit would be fine. With that in mind, he flops down on the couch.

"Do you have any idea who is behind this... theft?" I ask, a dangerous edge in my voice.

"If you can take care of this, please do. I am under too much stress at the moment."

"Of course, my lady. You really should take some time off, maybe spend the day with Hikari. It'd be good for you."

"It has to have been one of my subordinates from when I was the head of the FRA... Probaly the O'Neals. They never seemed to agree with my policy." It is no secret that I had intended to restart the Cold War, and I think that Lin-Sat is intelligent enough to realize that such an event would benefit Red Infinity as much as it would the FRA.

"Once this machine mass thing is over, I will take some time off. I miss seeing Hikari. Though I am not sure if Lin-Sat will give me time off."

"If that is the case, I want them placed under full surveillance. Discern their intentions, and 'chastise' them if necessary.
My eyes flicker.
In the meantime, I would like to know why I have yet to hear the screams of rebels being gased to death in their rat-holes.

"You deserve it my lady, I am sure you taking a week or so for yourself won't hurt our operations. In fact, if you are not given a break it will probably do more harm than good. What will the people say if they see how you appear?"

Cynthia hears some scuffling in the living room, and panics. She grabs her bat, and peeks around the corner, seeing Steve.
"Oh god Steve, you scared the nuts out of me..." She says, dropping her bat. "I'm sorry, I'm still not quite used to people living with me..."

"The production of poison gas takes time. I am planning to use a mixture of chlorine and sulfuric acid, it's very lethal but nonpersistant. I believe that meets your criteria. As for the O'Niells... I'll have them dealt with in due course." Which means whenever the hell I can.
