"Those who don't work for Red Infinity are killed by those who do. So I don't know. Some might be afraid, others may agree with Red Infinity's politics, others are just evil, and I don't know about the rest." Bassarov explains. He is never comfortable talking about the gods for the simple reason that he does not believe in them.

"Well you could start by not asking me to sleep with you. I'm too young for you, and you're not my type anyways."

"Oh." is all I have to say. I also don't care for talk about gods, because I had been taught to respect all religeon, even pegan (meaning polytheistic) faiths. The talk of Red Infinity reminds me of something, something that I am hesitant to bring up considering Bassarov's mood... "I got our spy sattelite working again..." I say.

Antero returns to the anarchist house in a bad mood. When he enters the kitchen he finds that someone ate the apple he had saved for himself. He becomes furious.
"Who the hell ate my apple?! That's it, whoever ate it is going to pay."
He grabs a butcher knife and starts stalking around the house for the one who ate his apple.

"Awe come on, you know I am only joking, and Alex is just being nice with you because he wants to sleep with you. That's how he is." I shrug and stick my hands in my pockets.
"At least I'm not sneaky."

Men... "Still, the point is I don't want to hear it. What I really want is for you to become more helping, to give freely both to the Government and to the poor... After all I don't want to reinstate taxation."

"That's good." Bassarov replies. He is more concerned about the fact that the rebel movement is in a state of decay and that the masses are still completely complacent. It is good none the less to have a sattelite, but his battle is an ideological one. "If only there was a way to turn the hearts of the masses. So much works against us. Even though many are displeased with Red Infinity, few would give their life for change. This is not the climate for revolution."

"Is it ever?" I ask, knowing it's a mistake. "There is a problem. Pieces of the Machine God have been moved. Big pieces..."

"Most of I disagreeets have been frozen or taken away by Red Infinity. I have to hold on to what I managed to save for dear life. I am living mostly off the wealth of my family and the stipend Red Infinity pays former capitalists."
She doesn't seem to understand how bad off most capitalists are. Hell if I am going to give up what little money I have.
"Once Red Infinity is overthrown and we get rid of this ass crud command economy, I will donate some of my recovered wealth back to the people."

"Okay..." I reply, quickly trying to figure out what property tax would be on that mansion of his... Overthrow Red Infinity, are you insane? We'd need a thousand nukes to do that, I have twenty! Not to mention the economic and social chaos that would last throuought both our combined lifetimes... All we can honestly hope to do is to carve out a comfortable niche away from these red bastards!

Dmitri leaves summoning Mehnah. He rides the Chimera around wondering what he should do. Morrighans passion had inflamed his own, however he was employed by the minstry of terror. Albeit the very same ministry that had killed his uncle but he had loyalties. His loyalty to his work and government and his loyalty to his family.
Dmitri felt torn. However he is sure that he could probably deliver the dragons somehow to Morrighan and she would be satisfied. He could never deliver Kaschei to her though. The sorcerer was too powerful for that. But maybe one of the dragons who did Omadon in would suffice. But how to get one...
Dmitri had a thought. Perhaps the one who had a personal thing for Morrighan. The one who tried to kidnap her...Mac. He would have to spy a bit and see what he could find out. Perhaps he could do something to help her without revenge. Although he too wished for retribution he did not wish to endanger himself by being labeled a traitor.
He arrives and goes to his room and begins to think more on a plan. He had to come up with something to either appease Morrighan or bespell her somehow so she would forget her pain and need for vengeance.

"There are times when things are so bad that people have nothing to lose and are willing to take more risks for change. There is a time for revolution. It can come swifly and unexpectedly, or it can take years to boil over. There is a time though." Bassarov assures her. Even capitalism came about from revolution against monarchic rule. But now, the masses seem dead, surviving in fear. But there is potential in them yet. A complacent populace is just a sleeping volcano.
"What do you mean "large portions?" Surely they wouldn't try to revive this so called machine god."

"So what is your plan? How are we going to overthrow Red Infinity?" I ask. I bet she has a really good surefire plan. The former United States is such a waste we need more territory. Territory with resources and cheap labor.
"This is so exciting! I am glad the FRA is back!"

"Well I'd estimate that 28% of it is gone. That in and of itself isn't a problem... It's where it resurfaced, which is in Romania. In southwestern Transylvania to be precise..." I state.
In many ways I think the move from monarchy to capitalisim was a bad one. If more people were like me, and followed their master's orders then the world wouldn't be lost now! one voice says.
If everyone was like you then the human race would have died off centuries ago. Remember who it is that you're sleeping with, Rei-chan. Socialisim may not be the best way, but despotisim definately is not. the other replies.

"My ambitions are more limited than that, unless you have a thousand nuclear bombs hidden somewhere. Uncle Parker always told me never to bite off more than I could chew, and right now we're having a hard enough time suppourting ourselves, let alone overthrowing the Communists."
