"And have you ever heard of 'Revolution'?"
Grove paused for a moment.
"People disobey laws for a reason. Sure some do because they are doing something bad. Others do it to prove a point. That is the case here. We disagree with the government and their methods so we go off and do it on our own, only hoping to do our part in peace. You make it sound like we are trying to undermine the government, but it is the government that is trying to wipe us out. We do not want anything to do with them. We just want to help mother. Plain and simple. If you do not grasp that, and leave us to do it, then truely, you are the ones hurting the environment with your unjust war on us... I have been alive far longer than humans, and have lived during a time where there was no government at all. You know what? It was peaceful. The only parent we had was mother, and she does not judge, she only protects."

I can't help but smile.
"Yeah you are..."
I put my arm around him.
"But you're my jerk." I say, kissing him on the cheek.

"Her birthday is this weekend, I think I have just been distant because I have been under a lot of stress and because it is straining my relationship with you. But I will somehow figure this out." Bassarov takes Mischa's hand. 'I am burnt out. But I am sure you can relate. It is just hard to put so much into the rebel movement but see no change in the near future."

"By having our own political party we are undermining the goverment and the one party system. The existance of the Green Party is against the law and an act of rebelion. Peaceful or not, it is interpreted as a threat to Red Infinity's soveriegnty."
Iivari turns to Grove, "But about the government you make a good point. You would make a good anarcho environmentalist since they also argue that there was peace before there were governments. But any stance that goes against Red Infinity not only endangers ourselves, but the environment. I am only suggesting that we put the environment first. If I stay with the rebels, I can not fight, if by fighting harm may come to nature."

"Let's visit the Green Party then and touch bases with them. I have not spoken with Toivo in some time." Bassarov gets up and puts on his coat. He walks to the door and pauses there, waiting for Mischa to follow.

"Reanalize your words... By staying with Red Infinity you are going against what you just stated you wanted to do. By siding with them you are not with the environment, you are with Red Infinity. Mother does not take sides... Nor do I. I am on no one's side. But I do know that the Green Party leader has a likeness of mind to me. It was this that attracted me to the Green Party. If you want to take the side of mother, go out and plant trees on your own. Then you can truely say you are helping the environment purely. That is what the Green Party does. OR, you can hide behind Red Infinity and do what they say, helping where they want you to, and blindly following their rules that were only set in place to help keep them in power. Your decision."
Grove kissed Roane's forhead as he leaned over her.
"Dont cry..." he whispered. He then turned back to Iivari.
"I am done with this discussion. You are like so many others. You see through lenses. They allow you to see only what they want you to see. Everything else is distorted into something terrible. I see through the lense of mother earth, as does the Green Party. We look through the earth's one origonal lense..."

(Iivari is not a member of Red Infinity for the record)
"I am a priest. I follow the will of my god as well as what is best for nature. Sometimes things are not so simple. I wear the lense of a faithful folllower of Tapio, a rebel, and of an environmentalist. And sometimes we see, that there are conflicts between lenses."
Iivari says no more. He will have to talk things over with Toivo. It is easy for Grove to say follow mother earth, but since Iivari is a priest, he feels he must follow Tapio. And Tapio now works for Red Infinity, which further confuses things.
The priest enters the Green Party house with the hope he can talk to Toivo.
He knocks on Toivo's door to see if he is in.

Roane nods. Everything Grove had said was true. She could not understand why Iivari did not see the truth here. How could one be so blinded?
She stayed where she was. her shame and rage keeping her down. She could not contain her feelings. She wanted to rage at Iivari but knew it was not her place nor would it do any good.
Grove...Iivari has decided. He must leave us then. And we will have to now be more wary...because he will now be an enemy. His brainwashed mind will do what they say. He may be sent to kill me...you...any of us.
She looks over at Iivari through her hair as he walks away. She reached up and grasped Groves hand and gave it a slight squeeze.

Grove sits becide Roane and pulls her closer, trying to comfort her. Sometimes he welcomes these debates, as they strengthen and more define his cause.
"Its ok... You are not with them anymore... Do not associate yourself with them..."

((Nope, their running Hillery in 2008. At least, that's what my information tells me.))
Michael's sycthe cuts across at a level, clashing with Faust's claws. "She'll live... probably. It's the food chain, half breed." Michael raises his hood and laughs, "We feed on your kind. They called us a monster. Funny, demons calling anything a monster..."
Michael swirls his sycthe in his hand and rushes forwards, robes billowing, making him seem larger, hiding his true shape, scythe flashing in the moonlight. A unearthly shriek leaves Michael's lips, pulsing around Faust, pressing into his ears like the tide presses against the beach.
