"I guess I just have to wait then,"
I turn on the television while I wait for Peter.
"Oh good, a soap opera!"

"Ah, madmoiselle Khodorkovsky, oui, ta pere was a most excellent man," I say with a rougish smile, taking her hand and kissing it.
"Oh, but were ARE my manners. I am Phillipe, Jean-Michelle Montaille, madmoiselle, and I am at your immediate disposal."

"Well, you might say zat," I say. "I am a part of La Resistance, the noble nationalist organization of France. We of France have always been capitalists, and we are always 'appy to 'elp our American friends."

I materialize within the depths of the void where I know Satsujin lurks. I take my human form, my Void Shard in hand.
"Satsujin!" I call out resolutely.

"American friends? They can be ignorant, loud mouthed and annoying. But since they are the only capitalists around, I deal. So..La Resistance. Interesting. I don't think there is a Russian nationalist group."

Void feels something solid form beneath his feet as he floats there. A plane was forming out of the darkness, gravity taking hold to simulate conditions similar to Earth. A low growl of annoyance followed by a voice eminates from all corners of the void, piercing Void's very mind.
"What do you want Void?"

I am unmoved by the veritable storm of power I feel emanating from Satsujin.
"Is it true that you intend to return to earth and bend it beneath your will?" I demand.

Post by Peter "The Owl" on Nov 8, 2004 23:39:32 GMT -5
Peter slides along the house until he is one the opposite side from Julie. With a mental effort, he slides through the wall, dropping to the floor inside without a sound.
Moving through the house without a sound, Peter stops in the room connected to the one where Julie sits, watching TV. He can hear the program from here. Perfect.
Peter considers the best way to do this. Rushing through the door guns blazing would work but she might have defenses against that.
He decides on stealth. Without a sound he phases through the wall and slides around behind the couch where Julie sits, cloaked and invisible but for a shimmer, dismissed in the dim light.
Rising behind the couch, a dull flash of silver in his right hand, he slowly leans forwards, his right hand slowly moving his knife forward. A few seconds and her throat will be slit. No more telepath problems.

"Tell me about your group. It is a rather exciting thing, you being a French revolutionary. Are you the leader of your group?"

A flash of adamantine steel appears seemingly out of nowhere as I compress my leShay blade into a more solid form. As I strike at Peter's dagger, I reappear, my eyes blazing with eagerness.
"So this is the owl. Not too imposing an individual, I must say. I was expecting something a bit more impressive."

"Ah, non madmoiselle. I am but a simple revolutionary. We 'ave many leaders, and zey make all the decisions as a group. But, ze revolutionary life, it eez very... 'ow you say? Exciting. I much enjoy ze time spent with my comrades, and we are working to ease ze suffering of countless individuals. I cannot think of a better way to spend my days."
