Hello. I am System One, version 4.1.12; the Monitor. How may I assist you?

The Monitor zooms once more around the room and then stops, turning down a hallway, zipping along near the ceiling at considerable speed like a streak of blue.
Finally the hologram stops, twirls around once, and enters a lab just off of the main labs. Rows of standing glass tubes line the room, four in total. Most of the tubes are empty but a few of them hold fetal humans. In these, the liquid within bubbles slighty and glows a faint blue.
Passing all the tubes, the Monitor stops and waits while a security door opens at the end of the room. Zipping inside it hovers before a single tube. Within is what appears to be a female human curled into the fetal position. "Excellent," chirps the hologram, spinning around while remain in one place, "Progressing on schedule."

Stalin calls up Lady Violet from his office. He hasn't left work in three days... he's been very busy. What with the LIF thing and the Nihilists and Rebels joining forces... it's a nightmare. He just hoped Violet could give him some good news about the Freak Boy thing...

I hear the phone and am reluctant to answer it. I am done with work for the day and was relaxing. I answer it and am surprised to hear Stalin on the other end.

"I sent two of our dragon operatives after him, but I have not heard back from them." I reply in english, with a Chinese accent and a slight British accent, since that was the variaton of the english langauge I was taught in school.

"Dat good... so, quick qvestion, I not leave work for three days. In order to finish last bit of paper work and finally go home, I need to ask a few qvestions. You ok vith that or I call back later?" he asked, sounding both tired and attempting to be polite.

"Jess! Tank you!" he said to Violet. He removed the phone for a second and looked up. "Take that, Bureaucratic bastards!!"
This was audible to Lady Violet, Stalin didn't know that of course. Soviet telephones SUCKED in comparison to these new ones.

"Ok, Ministry of Information is under-employed. Just wondering if you are doing someting about dat and if so, what?
"Minister of Defense, Newton, still complaining about being underfunded. He says Red Infinity need new guns and better trackers. He also say that Beauracrats in top of Red Infinity can go [expelative deleted] themselves for keeping his requests away for so long, simply because he is black man... I don't think I was supposed to say that. Oh well, also, I am requesting information on LIF situation. Can you answer?" Stalin asked.
