"All of the Ministries are understaffed. Maybe we should work on quality rather than quantity. Too many members are slacking or taking mercenary jobs. We need loyal, hardworking party members. I will see what I can do to recruit. Maybe I can do a recruitment drive of some kind. I will travel to a few cities giving speeches and asking new people to join the party. It has been a while since I toured anywhere."

Noe fades in half way down the bio-tube hallway. He glances about at the growing people in the tubes. Children, for parents unable to raise them naturally. The LIF was a busy place and it's workers often had to use these tubes rather than carry their children within themselves. Still, it worked and the children born in such a way were stronger and smarter than the carried children. It made perfect sense.
Passing through the door at the end of the hallway and enters the room where the Eve Project is locationed. He glances up and see the Monitor spinning around the room. "Monitor," he says in greeting. Noe walks up to the single bio-tube and looks at the girl... or woman. It was hard to tell really, the age was difficult to pin down.
"How is it progressing?"

"Ok, under-employment proplem... chack. What about Newton's anger and rant? He seem very mad that every time he put in request for more funding, they seem to just toss it aside. At least with other ministries they get 'Screw you.' type of note." Stalin spoke, butchering the English language.[/orange]

"If he is not getting funding, it is not because he is black. We are a racially diverse party. We have other priorities at the moment. Tell him that if he wants more support he has to build his ministry. Maybe he can build it up to deal with LIF."

"Ok, funding not racist. Funding needs... built up ministry... try... LIF." Stalin said, speaking aloud as he wrote a note to himself. "Ok, and speaking of LIF... what is going on with them?"

"We are currently refraining from attacking them. It is a mutual agreement of non aggression. But we should still be prepared. They are a mysterious organization. I met with their leader Noe today who told me nothing more than their plans to allow for the next step in human evolution."

The Monitor lowers itself down, hovering behind Noe, at about shoulder height. When it speaks, it's voice echos slightly but is not electronic sounding.
"The Eve Project progresses on schedule, Director. I think that I made a good lay out for her physical appearance, don't you agree, Director?"

"Thank you, Lady Violet! Now I can go home and get well deserved sleep..." Stalin said before yawning. "Before I go, is there anything you need to tell me or ask me?"

"Your to be complemented Monitor. I see you went with the cute appearence. Not beautiful, nor plain, but a perfect balance. People won't be able to help being attracted, but more in a friendly sense. Very, very good."
Noe folds his arms behind his back and speaks without looking at the floating hologram of the Monitor. "And the Darwin Strain?"

"Good night." he said. Before he hung up the phone, you could hear him shout. "YOU HEAR THAT BEAURUCRAT BASTARDS?!! I'M FREE!!" and with that, the phone slammed on it's hook and Stalin grabbed his things to head home. That is, until more paperwork slid under his door. He ignored it completely, simply tossing it on his desk. He would check on it in about two days... for now, he needed rest.

"Sadly, the Strain's lethality percentage still exceeds the limits you layed down Director. It will still do more harm than good as it exists now, though the results from success are impressive to say the least.
My chemical faction is running a new molecule combination as we speak. I expect the results between 1500.00002 and 1500.00004 hours. I know it is a rather generous window but the composition is rather complex." Computers, measuring life in nanoseconds, had a strange sense of time.

"Hum," Noe says nothing for a few seconds, staring at the female in the biotube. "Keep me updated. I'm going to be off base on and off so find me when you can." With that, Noe turns to leave, and fades out before he is completely turned.

((I'm really sorry Erika, I have been very busy... You've been posting with everybody but me. I'll be on more in the next couple of days.))
I walk around the apartment and figure I should start spending more time with Erika. She's been spending time with everybody but me.
I make myself some tea.

He had been out for days it seemed. He felt a bit stiff and sat on the edge of his cot. He looked over his body and saw tiny scars that were fresh. They had done it. They had put the augmentations into him after knocking him out. He had felt nothing and did not know what to do next.
*tick*
We know what to do next...we need to find Peter sir. He would know what to do about this. He would want to help us.
He shakes his head and a voice not like his own emerged from his mouth.
"Peter has nothing to do with this now. You know what must be done. You were put here for a purpose and you know that. Peter will not give a rats ass to help you now. Only i can...we can. You must remember what you were taught so very long ago. It may take some time but you must remember Christine."
Having said her name out loud brought her back. She quickly dressed and left the base. She had to find Peter. She had to see what was going on with herself. She was afraid to talk to Noe since he was new. She wished like hell Lenna was still around. She needed her mother right now. She pulled her black leather trenchcoat closer around her and lowered her goggle like sunglasses. She felt so alone.
Would Peter even recognize her or care after being gone so long. She herself was not sure how long he had been gone. Using her scanners she tried to find him but had no idea how to use her new implants.
How was she going to find Peter the Owl?
