"Wow...!" I say, in a taken aback sort of way. "I guess I misjudged her person... Do you know where she went? I'd like to discuss this with her."

"I am afraid that she returned to Beijing. But maybe we could see her, we have to travel there to see Trotsky anyway." Bassarov replies. He is happy for his friend, but a little sad at the same time. He is used to having the spotlight in Mischa's life. Now he has to share him with Erika and his son. Bassarov looks down and smiles at himself for being so selfish.

Ceph ran outside of the Red Infinity building and loaded his guns and readied his weapons. Lady Violet.. do you have an idea where this "Leon" may be?" He asked her telepathically.

"Oh yeah Trotsky!" I say, excitedly and obvlivious to Vossya's feelings. "Oh man this is going to be great... Yeah, let's go right now! I wanna see how Mitya's doing... Maybe he came to his own conclusions that Red Infnity sucks..." I say, fantasizing.
"If we got married, we'd have our own stepchildren. That's cute."

"I suppose we would. That is rather interesting. I really never thought of us as parents together. It seems strange to me." Bassarov responds. He has always been anti marriage and anti family. "We could have Christmas with our "children." Oh wait, I don't believe in Christ and I don't eat turkey. Too bad."

"I'm.... Dreaming... Of a red... Christmas..." I say, grabbing his hand. "Like when we crushed the white army!" I continue to sing.
"Yeah Christmas should be out... Although I support people's democratic right to choose whether they should or should not celebrate holidays, that's one season I won't miss." I say in a vague reference to Red Infinity outlawing Christmas.

"You really are giddy about this, aren't you? Or is this your normaly goofy self?" Bassarov replies. "Yes, and I agree. People have a right to celebrate holidays. It might be fun to celebrate something. I remember growing up and celebrating Christmas in my home. We celebrated it on both calendars since my grandparents were orthodox. Mitya is Orthodox I hear." Bassarov dislikes talking about religion, but he was not raised an atheist. That is something that came later in life.

"Well you know... A little from column A a little from column B." I say in regards to being giddy. "This is something very new to me, and I think I have some buried maternal instincts or something. I must have been a housewife in a n earlier life."

I sit alone in my room working on a pet project of mine. That is translating some classic Russian poetry into Japanese which, though equally coarse-sounding looks far better on paper. I use my best calligraphy to put the vertical rows of characters on thin rice paper, then carefully hang them in an adjoining room to dry since I don't want the paper to get yellowed from my cigarette smoke. I have already decided that these'll be a gift to Bassarov because even though he can't read them he will appreciate their artestry...

"A housewife, maybe you were a woman in another life. I can see it. Really. I think I will be a woman in the next one as punishment for all of the womanizing I have done. But really, I don't believe in that sort of nonsense." They walk onwards towards the rebel base.
"Yes, from what it sounded, Mitya seems a little bit of a slavophile...just like you before we became friends."

Cephrien, Leon is located in Helsinki. He should be either at the rebel base or at Mikhael Nadyezhda's apartment. I return to my work once I have given this telepathic message to the young mercenary, Cephrien.

I wake up, not knowing that I had slept. Somehow I get the feeling that I left too soon, but it's too late to go back. Immediately I try to find Despair...

Don't mean to rush you, Bassarov, but... I don't think it's working. Freak Boy thought to him.
Freak Boy continued staring into Nakia's eyes, as if doing so would somehow prevent her from ripping him to shreds. Not that it would, that was just an analogy.

"I spent a few hours talking to Erika yesterday as well as a few the day before. She even showed me a picture of him. He is not bad looking. He looks far more serious and dedicated than Lysander." Bassarov contacts Freakboy mentally. "Mischa and I are on our way."
