"What can I say? Popularity... it's a curse." Freak Boy said with an exaggerated sigh.

"Okay." I state, glad that I have nothing to do with the nihilists, whom I like even less than the anarchists. But I decide not to think about that, or the other person I sense in Mischa's bedroom. I slouch back in my chair and take a long drag off my cigarette and very slowly exhale through my nose, then stand up. "I don't know about anyone else but I'm starving... What sounds good to you l... I mean Valodya?"

"I've been snacking on rye crisps all day, so I am not hungry, but have whatever you like." Bassarov says to Zero. "We could have something delivered. What do you two like?"

"Anything that isn't still kicking..." Freak Boy said as his stomach growled. "Aside from the ham sandwich and vodka, I haven't eaten in two days..."

"Pizza sound good?" I ask them. Bassarov may not be hungry now, but no doubt he will be once the food arrives. In the mean time I start the coffee pot.

"Pizza sounds fine. I like mushrooms on my pizza but have started to take a liking to pineapple. What do you two like?"

"Sausage, pepperoni, bacon, ham and jalepeno peppers." Freak Boy responded, bolting upright and speaking in a very fast tone. The mention of the word "Pizza" has given him the energy you would expect from him.

"Sounds like we will need to place an order for more than one pizza then." Bassarov does not eat meat and the idea of a greasey pizza makes him ill.

I almost say 'any kind of flesh' but insteand say "Pepperoni, sausage and bacon, and since you're vegetarian I suggest we have that on only half the pizza." I stub out my cigarette butt and light another just as the coffee finishes. I pour some for me and Bassarov, then turn to Freakboy. "Want any?"

"Fine with me. I could eat a horse I'm so hungry..." he said before the movie once again drew his attention. Godzilla was now attacking a Soviet sub.
He then looked at Zero.
"Don't smoke. The tobacco companies are part of the system. The more cigarette's we consume the more aid Red Infinity gets... I don't push that belief though."

I growl a little, after all staying under three packs a day is still virtually impossible for me since I am up so long every day and am so addicted that I want to smoke constantly. "Do you really want me to go insane? No? Then stay out of my hair about it."

Bassarov places two orders, one for the mushroom pizza with thin crust, and then a thicker crust meat pizza for Zero and Freakboy. "It should not take long. About a half an hour."

"I'm not in your hair about it. I simply stated an opinion. I've been told countless times that it's just another paranoid conspiracy theory that I seem to come up with so I don't push it. Besides, even if I didn't think that, my grandpa died of throat and lung cancer." he said, leaning back and ignoring Zero's growl. It's just the nicotine craving kicking in...
"That's good to know, Bassarov."
Freak Boy still didn't know if the two would be considered on first name basis. He did have very little socail skills and was not good in such fields.

"Okay, thanks." I say as I reach into the small canvas purse that I have recently started carrying and pull out my wallet, and hand Bassarov the money for the pizzas even though I can barely afford it. I only take about $100 a week for my personal expenses, and almost all of it is taken up by food and cigarettes.

"Don't worry, I can take care of it, I have some money from when I sold my books back to the college last week." Bassarov is usually broke as well.
