Ending the Dark

[Despair]

"I am a machine, I have never wanted to have children. For me, it is unnatural. It may be what you want, but I have little interest in that at all. If at some point we want to have a family together, Red Infinity has pleny of orphanages we could adopt a child from." Despair replies cooly. "I feel like I am being pushed into something I don't want to do. I don't like the idea of creating a child for this project. I don't like the idea of becoming more human..."

["Zero" Americanski]

"Well I don't really know who my parents are, just that my mother died fighting Louhi, and I have more than thirty half sisters and four half brothers. I'm ninteen, somewhat dour and serious, and I smoke way too much... And I love Valodya more than anything. Which is why I am here." I explain. We reach the door and I knock, not really expecting an answer. If Mischa and Bassarov had 'personal business' to take care of I don't want to know about it. Instead I slide the envelope under the door and start walking to the bistro. "So what do you like to eat?"

[Peter "The Owl"]

"Satsujin... the name means 'murder' in Japanese but it has no meaning in Infernal or Abyssal. It's similar to a word in Celestial, it may be a corruption of it... accept that's an adjective, no a proper noun."

Peter scratches his head, "Nothing at all. And I've never heard of any god named Satsujin." He turns to Hope, leaning an elbow on the table, "Did they mention any other names for Satsujin?"

[Erika "Zwei" Faust]

"Cloning is unnatural and you had no problem with that! I don't like what Fraulien Zedung suggests, it's blasphamy!" I pause, my eyes watering up. "Please... I want to have another baby... And I want you to be the father."

[Linette]

[shadow=red,left,300]"I like everything really, except for plain cheese. I don't know why, I just don't.. My favorite food through are apples. What's your favorite food?"[/shadow]

Linette asks, she knew some people would think she was wierd, but she didn't really care.

[Hope98]

"Jumala Obsidion...Yoo-ma-la..." I pronounce.

"Yoo-ma-la is Finnish for god, it is a title, only the highest gods are given that title." I say as I read out of the book.

"The highest gods are biogeological. They are created from living crystals or minerals. His is akin to obsidion."

["Zero" Americanski]

"Hmmm... That's a tough question. I really like roast beef on fresh black bread, but I like a lot of other things too." We arrive at the bistro and sit down. I light a cigarette and ask "So, what do you want?"

[Despair]

"I love you but I am not ready for that. I am sorry. They will have to find another android for the project. They will have to find another operator. I have no problems with cloning, since...we would not be attached to the clone. But maybe you are right, I think both ideas are bad."

[Peter "The Owl"]

Peter's eyes widen. "Your serious? d**n it!" Peter whips around, back to the books. "Jumala Obsidion is one of the five original gods from Finland. In fact, he's one of the last two. He killed his sisters and one of his brothers before the other Jumala stopped him."

Peter's finger races along the page, taking in the strange language in the book, "But he didn't kill Obsidion. He cast his brother into..." Peter narrows his eyes. "I don't know this word..." He flips another book, then another, and then a third. "Okay..." Back to the first one, "The closed thing in English is... 'The Void'. 'A eternity that is not eternal. The negative side of the Endless...' That should have destoried him."

Peter closes the book. "Jumala Obsidion should be destoried, completely unmade... unless... unless he really did get unmade... if he's a god from unreality... oh d**n..."

[Erika "Zwei" Faust]

I sigh and hold him close to me. "I should be getting back to Helsinki... I am supposed to spy on the rebels." I don't tell him but that's really what I felt bad about, and not about having the baby. "I need you to promise me not to attack them... Please."

[Muirgheal]

Muirgheal strolls into Lady Violet's office after a quick knock, happy to have had an excuse to get away from Adonis, he wasn't exactly the nicest dragon in the world. But she's sure he can't be that bad, and maybe after a while he'll get nicer, but right now she wanted to do something else.

"Hello Lady Violet! Hope I didn't disrupt anything, do you have any missions for me?" She asks with a pleasant smile.

[Hope98]

I read on and the book talks once again about the kampa. A magical artifact that only mortals can use. It is vital to stopping him.

"I hope Celeste returns soon so we can set up a meeting with the Leshay. I don't think we have much time to spare."

[Despair]

"We should meet with Lady Violet one last time before you go. I am going to turn LIF down on their offer. There must be other androids they can experiment on." Despair replies. He sees how upset Erika is, but he is adamant that he does not want a child right now.

[Lady Violet]

I look up from my work at the dragon.

"All of the strongest operatives are on standby right now in case Satsujin escapes the void and attacks Earth. I have no missions at the moment, other than to return to your quarters. If you like, you can meet with the dragon Damascus, and stay here to protect the International HQ in case that god were to escape."

[Erika "Zwei" Faust]

"Okay..." I say in a resigned tone, yet I am still determined to have a baby. If not by him then by Mischa. And if not by him then by someone else. Surely Violet can find someone for me... "We might as well talk to her now..."
